“The window’s open!” the keeper said. “I think that Coco might of helped herself to a little snack!”

Lauren sighed in relief. She then quickly, but quietly, made her way out of the building. Once outside, Lauren looked around as she saw a cart outside, obviously belonging to the keeper. She noticed a crate in the back of the cart. Looking around, she climbed up and climbed into the crate.

To her surprise, the crate was full of hair. Lauren spat and sputtered; it was in her mouth. Lauren wondered what in the world she was thinking, and began to climb out.

Suddenly, she heard footsteps approaching. The keeper was coming back! Yelping, Lauren closed her eyes and mouth, and dove back into the crate. Lauren heard the footsteps coming closer until she felt the cart begin to shake a bit. Suddenly, she felt a jolt and heard a whirring noise; they were moving!

Lauren shivered a bit, wondering just where she was being taken to. A while later, Lauren felt the cart stop, shake, and then heard footsteps walking away. They had stopped.

Slowly sticking her head out, Lauren opened her eyes to see just where she was.
