You almost reach the meadow when you feel a sharp pain in your neck. Your body immediately, involuntarily, stumbles forwards and falls to the ground.

Looking at the ground, you see a large puddle forming underneath you.

"NOoo" you manage to gasp out.

You try to pull yourself up, but your body will not listen.

Then you hear the deep thud of the landing of the creatures all around you, feeling in the soil around you. Then another sharp pain joins the other as a spear is lodged in your back.

This is it, this is how you die. The creatures are going to kill you and probably eat you.

You try to **** out a curse, but it only comes out as a wheezing noise. You hope Haruka and Rachel will make it away safely at least. Then you feel the bone-crushing fists of the apes begin to pulverize your ribcage.

The blackness soon overtakes your vision.
