You went straight home. Half an hour later, Emily arrived home too. You still hadn't had a conversation about the argument, and you were determined to not falter in your unapologetic stance. A couple days passed and Emily still hadn't said anything about the argument, or much else. All conversation between you was small talk and meaningless. It wasn't until the night before Wendy's party that Emily finally broke her silence.

"Tomorrow's Wendy's party. I told her we were going, so leave work early." She told you.
