“I won’t waste another breath,” Avery said. “I’ll be getting Cynthia’s things and leaving. Don’t you dare try anything.”
Avery stormed up the stairs and grabbed the few items Cynthia had and then left, leaving Margaret with her pants at her ankles. Avery climbed back in the car and drove away heading back home.
