The shower is warm and invigorating, it seems to bring you back to life, you can feel your batteries recharging. Suddenly the door opens and you can see the man’s shadow in the room, “Hey so I did some looking on the network about you. You know see if anyone is missing or anything like that.”

“Really?” You ask turning off the water, “Did you find anything?”

“Well maybe, umm, so, can I look in your inner lower eyelid on your left eye?”

“What? Why?” You ask poking your head out of the shower.

“I just need to check real quick.” He says pouncing on you, holding you there, head sticking out of the shower using the shower door to clamp onto you so you can't move.

“What are you! Help! Please stop! You're hurting…” You yell while squirming and pulling to get away. Stopping as he pulls down your eyelid, then just lets go.

“Okay, got it. Now what?” He says though you aren't sure he is talking to, “Really? Just like that, no bullshit. Wow, and you are sure? Yes she does clear as day. No way, I can't believe it is real. So where do you think it came from?”

“What do you mean it?” You ask from the shower.

He holds up a finger to indicate for you to be quiet. “I see okay ya if you want to bring the papers I'd be happy to sign, it is cute.” Then he yanks open the shower. “You.. you little minx, you had me there, I can't believe I fell for that contrived plot. My lawyer says I can keep you or sell you, my choice.”

“What? You can't be serious? What is going on?” You ask covering yourself with your hands. “Why did you call me it?”

“Oooh it is so creepy, so lifelike. Heck I'll play along. I wonder what the story is programmed in it. Cool.” He leans forward, puts his hands on the edge of the tub and says, “You are a vat grown body with a human personality logic unit inside. My friend is coming to check your serial number, if you really ran away and have no owner on record I can keep you.” He leans back to let this sink in, “Do you have a name?”
