"No thanks," you reply "I need to get away from here as far as I can and going to your herd will just bring trouble."
"I un-r-stand, least take my dear, I get nother one no problem" Merri replies and without letting you reply hands you the dear and gallops off looking sad. You might have hurt her feelings.
You now have a dead dear for breakfast and probably lunch.
