No one notices what happens to the Captain

Captain Kirie sweeped her rifle left and right, searching for the Towerling that had dragged Alice away, to no avail. The gunfire behind her was hard to ignore, the sounds of the Towerlings howling and snarling harder still.

She kept scanning, hoping to- "Hmm?! HMMMMMMMMmmmmm...!" Kirie was blinded as she felt a large, slimy, sticky, mass of some sort slap onto her face, then a sharp tug as she was pulled by an overwhelming force forward towards the tunnels, her gagged cries for help drowned out by the webbing across her face.

The squad engaging the horde in the other direction were all facing the other way and hadn't noticed Kirie's defeat... except Lina, who had just propped herself up with her rifle in order to rejoin the fray. She was still shaky from earlier, but she had to warn the others before it took another one of the squad.
