No and Yes

The more he thought about it on the bus, the more certain he was that Tanya was jerking with him. Her dad was a Hollywood producer. If she wanted to do any sort of videography, she would go to loving daddy and have it all taken care of. She certainly didn't need to waste her time with the school's slumdog.

And, sure enough, when he walked into the restaurant, he saw... April.

"Let me guess. You've got another date."

"Uh, more of a business meeting. If she shows up at all."

"She, huh?"

Was April jealous? All he'd done was flirt with her a little. It wasn't like they were in a committed relationship... or any relationship at all.

"Yeah, I'm working on a video project."

"Ohmigod, don't tell me you're the one everyone is talking about."

"Huh?"

"Supposedly some guy is setting up a sex streaming empire right here on the Hill. And it's you, isn't it?"

"Empire is probably putting it a little strongly. I think of it as a project."

"How much money are we talking about here?" She showed him to a booth and sat next to him, her thigh pressing against his.

"We're still doing the financials."

"It's got to pay better than this waitressing job, right?"

"I hope so. Of course there are a lot of costs involved. Uh, assuming that the numbers look good, are you interested. I'm responsible for selecting talent and you certainly have the looks to pull it off."

April licked her lips. "I think you'll find that I'm talented in other ways as well."

"I imagine."

"When you finally get around to asking me out on that date, maybe you'll find out."

"I can't wait."

She ran her hand down his thigh. "You've been waiting pretty long so far."

"You do not want to hear the family trauma I've been through. Trust me, I've been thinking about it."

"Well, isn't this a sweet sight?"

Matt turned to see Tanya glaring at him.
