No Need For Sasami's Room

Ryoko: I bet Sasami has some! And her room is right above mine. So...

She passed her face through the wall of an adjacent room to check if anyone was inside the room. Finding it empty, she went in all the way.

Ryoko: Hee-hee. Now, let's see, if i were a pen and paper, where would i be?

?: In the drawer.

Ryoko: Thanks. Eh?

Ryoko looked around for the source of the voice. It sounded like...

Sasami: Down here.

Ryoko: OH!! S-Sasami! Why're you here?

Sasami: I think that's my line.

Ryoko: Moreover, when did you learn to become invisible?

Sasami: Before you learned to look down, i guess.

Ryoko: Huh? Oh, i get it. You were right under where i came in, right?

On closer inspection, Ryoko noticed Sasami was sitting among a stack of paper. Sasami smiled pleasantly.

Sasami: So, you wanna be Tenchi's valentine too, Ryoko, huh? Ha ha ha ha ha!

Ryoko: Uh...y-yeah, that's it. You got it, kid. You're pretty sharp, considering you're related to Ayeka, i always liked that about you.

Sasami: You really didn't have to insult my sister, you know.

Ryoko, thinking: If i know her, and my own bad luck, poetry is another thing Sasami is good at that the rest of us aren't. Maybe i can....out loud Say, Sasami!

Sasami: Yes?

Ryoko: Ya know, even if you write the best, most moving love poetry in the universe, Tenchi still won't go out with you or be your valentine.

Sasami: What!? That's so mean, why would you say that?

Ryoko: Whoops. What i mean is, he can't be. Even if you are hundreds of years old, he still sees you as a child.

Sasami: He-he does?

Ryoko: Sure. Why do ya think he hasn't asked you out already?

Sasami, blushing slightly: Well, um...i-i thought he just wasn't interested in someone like me.

Ryoko: Are you kiddin'? If you were the same age as her, Ayeka wouldn't have a chance against you! And y'know what else? She knows it. That's why she told you not to tell me about Valentines day. She knew that if we worked together to win Tenchi, she'd be finished easy! I never had a sister, but that sounds like kind of a mean thing to do to one. I mean, lying to your sister for a guy? Sasami: Well....i-i guess so. (I thought Ryo-Oh-Ki was your sister.)

Ryoko: SURE it is! You shouldn't take that from her, Sasami! You have every right to help me win over Tenchi, and i think you should do it!

Sasami: You're right! Wait! Why would i help you? I....i wanted Tenchi, too...

Ryoko: That's just it! Ask yourself this: What if Tenchi could go on a date with someone who talks like you and looks like me? Don't you think he'd like that, huh?

Sasami: I guess so...
