"I'm sorry, there is something really fucked up here. I cannot let you go, but once the police arrive I will vouch that you tried to stop this" I said, these words had a clear effect on the blue eyes. Tears began flowing "I am sorry, but I have to do this" she said as her hand moved closer to my face. A taser dart clearly visible on her gauntlet. I managed to turn my head in the last millisecond, avoiding the dart hitting my face and knocking me out.

I pushed her away from me, as she shot another dart my way, this one missed as well. It seemed she was out of darts as she pulled two clubs from behind her back and charged. A blow came from the left as I deflected it, then a swift jab from the right. She had grace to her movements, unlike the black armoured girl, Stephanie's movements were swift but elegant. Letting the clubs do the hitting she looked almost like a gentle ballerina not bloodying her own fists.

"Stop, I don't want to hurt you" I said, parrying and avoiding her weapons. "You already did, let us go and I will forgive you" she was visibly sobbing, but she didn't stop her attacks. Each time trying a new direction or a new form to find a weak spot in my defence. In a series of quick attacks in an almost dance like maneuver she managed to find it, the first blow came with her right hand followed by her left right after, hitting my already bloodied forearm causing me to instinctively retract it. She quickly returned to position and find her way to my head with her clubs. One after the other caused me to lose my balance and sway right with the blows.

There was some kind of yelling from behind us as she continued her ****, after that I heard two gunshots, and saw Stephanie stop, her eyes wide open and locked unto mine. There was a hole in her armour, on the purple side of her suit, blood started dripping on her suit. Stephanie disengaged, running away while holding her side, she ran in a direction that put me between her and the police officer calling for her surrender. She use some grappling gun to grapple away.

"Fuck! Are you an idiot? You could have shot him!" Lydia screamed at the police officer with his gun up. Lydia came rushing over and checked on me, her touch was gentle and soothing. "Call it in! Now! And put that gun away before I use it on you, you moron!" She shouted at the uniform police officer. The sweet and always smiling hazel eyed Lydia seemed like a fierce lioness now, and not the sweet kitten she appeared to be earlier today.

The officer called on the radio and relayed Lydia's instructions, it was clear that even though she's off duty he still feared to disobey her. He informed the central that four gang membered were ceased, two more were most probably dead, an ambulance was needed, and there was a bag full of paper money found on the scene.

"You are lucky, most who encounter the Batgirls in a fight usually need to be fed by a straw afterwards. You are the first one I think that didn't need to be hospitalized for a few days after a fight with the black one. Good job" Lydia said, as she gave me a small peck on my cheek. "Right, it seems today is your first day after all. But you already caught one of the infamous vigilantes, I'm sure the Captain will be pleased. I need to call her now."
