Time for Bed

{If Gerwald = 1}Denaasi gave Alexa a warm hug and kissed her on the cheek at the entrance to the Command Tent before retiring to her bed. Emily found her own small bedroom, partitioned by canvas curtains, nearby. She removed her armour and laid it on the floor piece by piece in the hope that she would remember how it all fitted in the morning. {else}Alexa was feeling tired and quite achy by now, so she said goodnight to the two warriors and thanked them for their training, collected up her armour, and walked into the Command Tent to find her small bedroom. {endif}

She kicked off her boots, flipped down the corner of the grey blanket on the inflatable mattress, and lay down. Today had certainly been interesting, and she wondered what tomorrow would bring. The pillow was thin, so she folded it over to give her head more support, finding beneath it a small black dagger. While it was made of the same foam and rubber as the swords it looked cruel and mean. Why was it under her pillow? Was this some sort of warning? Whatever it was it could wait until morning so she tossed it over to her pile of armour.

She felt quite uncomfortable in her shorts and bustier, but also felt a little nervous about stripping off when anybody could walk in. It wasn’t as though she could lock the door. After a while tossing and turning she decided that she was in the command tent, surrounded by guards, so there probably was no safer place she could be. She pulled her top off and threw it over to the rest of her clothes, then slid her shorts down, leaving her panties on, and drifted off to sleep.
