Of the three seats available, all three were in a row with Sherry at one end and Conner at the other. Knowing the dangers of getting too close to authority early on, Dack took a seat beside the 'other' Kentucky boy. He and Dack would become friends over their time at the Academy, and would both be assigned Security detail on the USS Terra directly out of the Academy. Nothing eventful would occur until a rogue meteor would strike a cloaked Cardassian cruiser tailing the Terra. Thinking themselves under attack, the Cardassians would send boarding teams over to the Federation starship. Dack would watch his best friends face melted off before himself falling to the gasping claws of an angry alien.

He would awake days later in the Cardassian brig. He would die there after protracted **** and starvation. A freak accident would cause the Cardassian cruiser to be left without power, drifting in space. His body would be eaten once the supplies ran out.
