New school, new problems.

After Ganondorfs defeat, Malon and her father Talon had regained control of Lon Lon Ranch. However on the first day of September that year Malon found herself at the gates of the ranch waving goodbye to her father as it had been seven years since Hyrule town had burned down, but now with its reconstruction for the first time in seven years the school there had been rebuilt.

Malon was therefore at eighteen years of age heading to school again with the comprehension of a much younger child, the years of Ganons rule having wisened her up of course, but her skills still that of a fifth class student. So to compensate for that, the King of Hyrule had decided a two year intense regiment would begin that would try to compress a lot of learning for these kids affected by Ganon's rule. That was why Malon was really nervous as she rode one of the horses across Hyrule field to the walls of the city that were being reconstructed as she passed through and arrived at the school she would be spending the next two years of her life at.

And she was nervous as she walked through the gate into the school yard and found a lot of other children registering for the year. A teacher noticed her and asked her what year she had last attended school as she was assigned to the special sixth grade and led to the classroom as she nervously entered it and found herself looking at a lot of new faces of kids she hadnt seen before or in years, all of whom were her age or even older... and only then did she realise they were all in uniform, with white upper shirts and brown skirts for the girls and trousers for the boys, compete with a red tie as she turned to the teacher who smiled at her.

"Introduce yourself Malon" he told her as the pretty young brunette stood before all of her classmates nervously. "Umm... hello everyone. I'm Malon, it's nice to meet you all" she stated before one of the girls, a blonde angry looking but cute girl stood up with annoyance. "Mister Kendo, why is she not wearing a uniform?" the girl asked with annoyance as the teacher frowned. "She has her circumstances" he remarked as the girl wasn't happy.

"I have my circumstances, but I don't get to not wear this ugly brown skirt" she stated as Malon felt herself flustering a little as the teacher frowned. "Miss Malon is from outside of Hyrule town" he began as the girls all snickered then. "Oh... so she's just a poor country bumpkin then!" the girl stated with a humorous giggle as Malon frowned. "I'm not poor" she protested, but Ingo's ownership of Lon Lon ranch during ganondorfs rule had plunged them into debt as the girl eyed her up and down.

"Oh yes. Your dress and boots don't look like they've been dragged through mud everyday" she stated as Malon hung her head low and the teacher frowned. "Alright, that's enough, now I want you all to treat Malon nicely as she'll be your classmate for the next two years" he ordered them as she sat down then in her desk and for a few hours things went well, that was until the end of the educational lessons for the day as Malon was left wondering what would come next.
