New Genesis, to re-negotiate the Truce

It was certainly a bold plan as his inner circle concluded, as if he needed thier approval. When you boom-tubed to New Genesis on the ground just below the floating city with the only company being your friend and agent fellow adopted brother who called himself Scott Free, and his wife who is also your Captain of the guard, Big Barda as you just stood there waiting, knowing full well that your arrival has gotten someone's attention.

Lo and behold the welcome wagon arrived in the form of none other than Orion, his brother that was traded by his Father Darksied for Scott the son of New Genesis Leader as part of the terms for of the truce between New Genesis and Apokolips which is what your here to discuss about.

"Koro Zor-El of Apokolips", he declard. "You are trespass-

"Lets skip the formalities brother", you interrupt. "We're all family here and you should have heard the news by now."

"I have, I'm not sad he's gone", he replied. "But that doesn't change the fact that your trespassing on New Genesis unannounced in violation of the truce."

You only smirk in response. "Actually thats why I'm here", you say."I wish to speak to the High Mother to re-negotiate the truce in question, and before you get in another tiffy, let me make it clear its not what you think. In fact you and your lovley wife are welcome to join in on the talks if it will set your mind at ease. Now if you will relay my request to speak with her, we are more than willing to wait right here for her answer.

Orion grunted and took up back into the sky, on his flight chair back to the float in city above.

"Oh Orion", you called out, before he got too high for him to hear you. "Do give Bekka my love won't you", you say with a soft smile, memories flooding your mind. Orion merley scowled, grunted again, and took off faster, giving you knoweenough of amusment.

So there the theme of you stood there in the lush green land, so much ddifferent then back on Apokolips, you use you superior vision and hearing to enjoy the wonders of the peaceful planet. Such a nice change of pace to the wailing misery and rustic waste back home, but it's your home and now its all yours. Still you actualy like it here on New Genesis, it would certainly make a nice vacation to get away from all the treachery and havok your constantly subjected to at home.

As he continue to look and listen with his superior senses, you notice hear the heartbeats of your companions and seek to address it.

"You two are troubled", you say as a statement rather than a question.

Scott stepped up to you from behind. "Permission to speak Lord Koro" he said in a formal manner which made you roll your eyes in response.

What did I just say that there's no need for formalities among family?", you asked rhetorically. "When we are in Apokolips and/or in the precense of members of my inner circle and lower. Since we are neither you may speak freely as you will, its never stopped you before anyway."

Scott hesitates, still adjusting to the changes of current events, but after all you two have been through, your will in to forgive him, especially since his wife and your personal guard Barda, has her hand on the hilt of her sword clearly ready to get in between you two, but you know for a fact that her loyalty is to her husband over you which your perfectly fine with, so long as it doesnt get in the way of his ambitions.

"Do you really think my moth- I mean High Mother will go along with your proposal?", Scott finally asked

"I honestly don't know", you reply. "If she is as wise and benevalent as people says she is, im confident she go along with my plan. At the very least she'll hear me out first before kicking us out if only just to see you again if nothand ng else.

You tilt your head back to him and notice while he seems unsure of waht to feel of being a tool of manipulation of his mother who he barley remembers but his smile and his heartbeat indicate he is quite eager to see her after all this time.
