Actually I'm a bit embarrassed," Sarah said, "Would it be alright if I use your bathroom?"
"Oh, why didn't you say something?" said Petra, concerned. "The bathroom is just on the far end of the hall towards the back. Let me escort you."
Petra walked towards the back ushering Sarah ahead. Aside from the occasional employee restocking Sarah couldn't help but notice that the store seemed deserted of actual customers. "Do you get many brides coming in?" She asked.
Petra beamed, "Yes, the waiting list is quite long actually. I personally make sure each bride is care for and given the proper attention she deserves. A bride should be treated like a queen wouldn't you say?"
Sarah's eye caught a nervous red headed woman on a pedastool in front of mirrors in her satin wedding dress. Her curves and cleavage displayed in a way that made Sarah’s heart skip a beat. The woman looked as though she was going to run at any moment. Then an employee gingerly placed a veil on top of her head. The bride began to cry and as though a switch was flicked looked as though today was the happiest day of her life.
"Miss, did you hear me?" inquired Petra.
Sarah shook the image of the bride from her head, "Yes."
Petra noticed where she was looking, "Ah, Miss Applebee. It seems she has just finished up. She came here not knowing what she wanted. And in the end we gave her the meaning she was looking for."
With that Sarah had the sense that Petra was looking her up and down again. But they had at last arrived at the bathroom. "Company policy says I will have to escort you back to the entrance. A lot of our clients are high profile celebrities and do not wish to be disturbed during this magical moment."
Sarah nodded and entered the bathroom.
