The Mastermind had a plan with the Widow. The main problem as he saw it, was not having heroes as even he saw the need for heroes to stop things... like a giant planet eating alien from he universe before this one. No, heroes were good. As long as they were either out of the way of his plans... or under his control by one way or another.

She also turned in the data she had taken out of he computers on the design of each ****. Keeping a copy of those notes for herself. She also stole a large amount of coke from some **** dealers without them noticing, given the building containing it had an 'accidental' electrical fire.

The Black Widow was not just a super spy, but a super assassin. The ability to use chemical knowledge to mix up **** and poisons on the fly was a skills she had been required to know. Which is why she was now working on the computer with the structure of the designer ****. To create a single **** with the benefits of all of the others.
