Naruto starts in the outskirts of the village.

"Hmm...~" 'Konan' hummed as she skulked about the backstreets and alleyways of the village, trying to avoid being spotted by any of the sentries on duty while scouring any potential areas for her to start at. Eventually, she chose to make her way closer to the outskirts, towards the poorer section of the village. "Ah...~ There we go. Let's start over there~" She smiled excitedly as she soon entered the vicinity of the section itself. 'After all, the villagers in this part of Konoha always need some sort of help, and they best believe I'm going to help them out, one way or another, heh~' Naruto mentally chuckled to himself.

"Goodness...it's been awhile since I've been here." 'Konan' looked around the area from a bush she hid behind, taking in the less than scenic scenery. 'Wow, the whole thing looks even worse than it did before, guess that's what happens as the village gets bigger, not every area gets the same level of care as others, huh?' Naruto thought as he continued to observe the run-down buildings, barely maintained roads, and infrastructure, feeling bad for the people living here. 'Well, I can't do too much, buuuuut, at the very least, I can make some people here have a great night~!' He resolved himself to helping out who he can.

"Eh, who are you, lady? And why the hell are you dressed like that!?" A older male voice caught Naruto off-guard as he quickly turned around in shock.

Behind 'Konan' stood two men looking directly at her, their faces a mixture of confusion, shock, and appearing quite flustered as they stared at her.

'C-Crap! I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings, that's all on me!' Naruto mentally smacked himself as a sense of embarrassment and shame overcame Konan's body. 'D-Damnit...this is also kind of embarrassing for me...I didn't think I'd feel this embarrassed by someone else seeing me like this... although, I should've expected it, actually.'

All the while, 'Konan' was also quite flustered, her cheeks reddening with immense shame. "E-Erm...w-well...you see..."

"H-Hm? Wait a second...I think I know her..." said one of the men, swallowing quite loudly. "S-She's an Akatsuki member! I overheard about it from one of my friends who's in Leaf Police ****!"

"Huh...eh? Ah! Hold on, y-you're wrong!" 'Konan' quickly snapped out of her embarrassment as worry and a fear of being turned in replaced her expression and tone.

"Oh..Oh no! You're right! We...We have to tell everyone!" said the man's friend through gritted teeth as the pair began to quickly turn around to begin running.

"S-Stop! Another step...I...I'll end you both right here if you move any farther back!" 'Konan' quickly went through her memories and pulled up her original personality as she threatened to harm them. 'Please buy the bluff please buy the bluff please buy the bluff...!!' Naruto was panicking inside as the two looked back at him, stopping their movements momentarily.

"I-I'll scream right now then!" One of the men threatened her right back, his look of determination outshining his fear. "If everyone knows you're here, then you won't get away so easily!"

"That's right! You Akatsuki think you can get away with everything? No way!" The other man also spoke his resolve as they both began backing up again away from 'Konan'. To which they were immediately stopped as paper shuriken flew past them and hit the ground behind them.

"Tsk...D...Damn you both..." 'Konan' spoke, looking very much frustrated with both of them. 'They're....They're so COOOOOLL!!' Naruto inwardly praised both of the men for their ability to stand up to what could amount as **** incarnate at the moment. 'Ahhh damnittttt!! But now's not the time to praise them...I need to get them to stop with hurting them in any way!' Naruto quickly thought on his feet. "Khh...What....What do you want..." 'Konan' mumbled out, sounding relatively soft, yet harsh, a conflicted expression on her face.

"H...Huh..?" Spoke one of the men, confusion crossing both their faces once again. "W-What are you getting at...?"

"What....do you want from me...in order to get you to keep quiet..." 'Konan' continued to speak softly, her conflicted expression getting more conflicted and defeated.

"I...I thought you would just kill us?" The other man asked her cautiously.

"I would....but...that in of itself would end up raising alarms...and that's the last thing I'd want right now..." 'Konan' explained to him. "So what is it...what would it take...?" She spoke a bit more clearly now and looked at the both of them with a fire in her eyes.

For a few minutes all was silent. Then it was broken.

"So...you'll do anything to keep us quiet, eh...?" The first man spoke, to which 'Konan' nodded in agreement. Afterwards, both men looked at each other and huddled, whispering things 'Konan' couldn't catch.

'What are they whispering about over there...? I can't catch a single word!' Naruto thought in frustration. 'And they keep looking my way...though it feels like they're looking at me up and down? Why would they...it's not like...I'm....oh....r-right....I forgot...' He had completely forgotten about his current state of dressing and was soon back to being more flustered.

After a bit of time passed, both men nodded to each other and looked towards 'Konan'. "Come with us. You don't want your cover blown AND get caught by the Village shinobi, right?" Said the first man, looking more and more confident.
