What do you choose?

My Life as a Teenage Robot

Ah yes how could you forget one of the best in your opinion Nick cartoons, and fictional superhero as well. It provides quite a few possible good recruits, that would be a great help against Fuse and conquering the multiverse to prepare for the Doomsday Weapon gone Rogue.

  1. Misty - The superhero turned mercenary is a skilled choice. As her fight skills combined with her powers have made her match for even Jenny in the past. Though to be fair there's a chance Jenny might not have been fighting to her fullest.

She also brings her powerful psychic ability to read and control others' minds, as well as an ability to turn into a cloud of ghostly mist. All these put together and it's easy to see why Misty is a ideal recruit.

Though she has her bad points in such at times being hot headed and easily offended, which could lead to her getting the two of you into some trouble later on.

Misty would no doubt be the easiest to convince both out of greed and self interest. Since you can certainly provide her with a paycheck and good fights. Not to mention there's no denying that Fuse would be a threat to her own survival as well.

  1. XJ-9 aka Jenny Wakeman - The robot teenage girl who longs to be more human would be a great choice for help against fuse. She brings battle experience and skills, raw power, and huge varied arsenal for what seems like any situation. Plus if your honest with yourself she was also one of your cartoon crushes as well.

The hard part is convincing her to come around to the conquering other worlds part of your plan. Since as a hero that's certainly against her morals, and would probably remind her too much of Vexus.

But the threat of Fuse combined with the possibility of becoming more human could convince. Since your sure either your newfound advanced tech or something in the multi verse could grant her desire.

Another option is perhaps praying on the fear that she might be just a replaceable tool to her mother, and maybe even friends as well. After all look at what Nora Wakeman did to all her sisters every time she invented a new model. Maybe showing Jenny a certain scene from A Robot For All Seasons where Nora was looking over blueprints for a XJ-10 could also be used.

Though one darker if possibly risky last resort option, is hacking/brainwashing Jenny. So that she becomes not only open to your plan, but possibly very loyal and smitten with you. But it's risky since if she's ever freed she'd likely turn on you in a instant.

  1. Vexus - When it comes to conquering other worlds Vexus would probably be one of the most easy to convince. The hard part is convincing her to work with a flesh and blood being or meatbag like yourself. But you might be able to convince her to put aside this prejudice in the threat of Fuse, as well as the opportunity your providing.

For Vexus you could either recruit after she's overthrown and is no longer Queen of the Cluster. She would have less resources to offer but you'd have a better bargaining position to say the least.

Or you could recruit her before than and even help prevent that scenario. This would put you in a less position of power over her. But at the same time Vexus would have more resource to help you with the fight against Fuse, and perhaps even be in your debt for preventing her losing her throne.

  1. Create your own XJ-9 - Actually one more option and plan does occur to you, that would be some extra work, but if you pulled it off you could gain a loyal follower and ally. Where if you remember right Vexus did get a hold of Jenny's blueprints and masterplans in one episode.

So perhaps you could take those same blueprints for your own use. Where you could teleport Vexus after she's overthrown, and than quickly neutralize her. After that perhaps use the technology on the ship to hack Vexus and download the blueprints.

Than create your own XJ-9 using those same blueprints but with your own upgrades added in of course. Maybe in honer of her contribution Vexus is making you could add a bit of her look to this Jenny.

Maybe also make her personality a bit of mixture between Jenny and Vexus as well, only making sure she's loyal to her father and creator. The end result would be a dangerous daughter/minion who would do be more willing to help you and make you proud of her.

Actually also recalling XJ-10 blueprints which made a small appearance in the episode Robot for a Seasons, another idea pops into your head. Where you combine the idea to build your own XJ-9 idea with the XJ-10 blueprints.

Where she's created/modeled after Jenny with some of Vexus color scheme and other factors added in. But the blueprints and capabilties of XJ-10 are also added into the design. Though the tricky part might be retrieving said blueprints, also taking them would certainly alert Nora Wakeman and by extension her daughter Jenny to trouble brewing, which could cause problems later down the road.

  1. Mix of some of the options above
