Moving Away

Feeling stagnant, Jodie just sat in her room, waiting for the next opportunity for doctors to experiment on her. The door opened. In walked Doctor Cole followed by Susan and a very **** Philip, still haunted by Aiden's threat.

"Jodie, you've got company." Cole announced, a hint of fear in his voice. Not afraid of Jodie, but afraid of what Aiden might do.

Jodie sat in her chair, stiff and uncaring. Susan bravely walked forward ignoring Philips gentle attempt to pull her back. Susan knelt down facing Jodie's distant stare.

"Jodie, you know that we'll always love you, no matter what happens, but whatever happens, I want you to be strong..."

Philip interrupts the emotional moment. "Susan, we need to go.." Susan glares back in frustration. "Just a minute, Philip!" Susan leans in close and kisses Jodie on her head. "Love you, Sweetheart." A single tear rolls down Jodie's cheek as Susan leaves.

Philip, holding the door open for his wife, stares back at Jodie. "Just so y'know Jodie, we're moving away to possibly another state, I think you understand why." With that, Philip smirked and nodded towards Cole as he was leaving.

When Philip made it to the doorway, Jodie turned her head, nodding slowly. Philip began to feel a tightness around his neck, causing him to cough violently. Cole offers his assistance, but Philip rejects him. "CAAHAACK! Get my wife AAACK!" Cole nods to Nathan, who entered the room hearing the commotion, quickly ran out. "Susan!"

Philip's face starts to turn red as the pressure reaches his throat. "Cuuahh cuuaahh.." Philip's vision blurs as his breathing gets shorter. "Breathe honey, just breathe. Oh my god he's ****!" Susan yells frantically.

Realizing the danger, Nathan runs over to Jodie. "Stop it Jodie. You hear me, stop it right now! You're gonna kill him!" Jodie glances towards the doorway, seeing the smokey black mass, she saw in her dreams, enter the room. Scared, Aiden releases it's grip.

Philip gasps for air cursing Jodie's name as he retreats out of the room. Oh my god, she tried to kill me...She tried to kill me! That Hell spawn, Satan's seed! YOU'RE A MONSTER! YOU HEAR ME? A MONSTER!!! The door inexplicably slams in his face, startling the two Doctors, who are with Jodie.

"Jodie..."A frightened Nathan said, with his hand an ich away fromJodie's shoulder. "Good job." This made Jodie run off to her bedroom, slamming the door.
