Most days are strange times.

Now into the afternoon, Sally and James sat in the livingroom after spending the last several hours looking at how to make an aquarium large enough for Aurora. Currently, his tablet sat on the table with a digital cart full of equipment he knew nothing about, waiting for the check Lee had told him about.

Sally clicked her tongue on the roof of her mouth. "One problem...this is definitely going to be suspicious to those guys if they're watching when this stuff shows up. And to Lee, if he gives you another surprise visit."

James bit his lip. "Hm..maybe I'll have to hold off on this."

The two sat in silence for a while, before Sally grinned. "Maybe not. All you need is a way for her to stay hidden, right? So get a bunch of fish and a mirror!"

James squinted at her, his face asking if she was stupid. "A mirror? Really?"

Sally nodded, "Yeah, I've seen magic tricks with it this guy turns coins into goldfish. It's this whole optical illusion that angles the mirror down, and the tank is tinted glass so the people outside the fish bowl aren't visible, and it makes it look like it's just the back of the tank but there's a secret compartment! She could just hide in there!"

"And if someone comes in to an empty fish tank?"

"So just get a bunch of fish!"

James shook his head. "No, even if they can survive the water mixture she needs, and I don't know that they could, people would still come in to see a bunch of identical fish swimming in the exact same direction and pattern. It's too easy to figure out if it's that big."

"Okay, fine, but let's at least explore the hidden compartment thing. Maybe with some research we can find some fish that can survive in that water."

James shrugged. "Okay, maybe. If you're willing to do the fish research, I'll look at engineering a secret compartment she could use...and then just let myself be a weird fish guy."

"Any better ideas?"

James puckered his mouth to the side. "...nope."

With that, he grabbed his tablet and started to design a new aquarium.
