Chapter 12 by takacube takacube

A dress or skirt the issue?

More or less a dress

Jim took a few moments to stretch and then turned and looked at the wardrobe in front of him. There were a mixture of colors, shapes, and textures to the clothes that he wondered, only partly, if some of Laura's clothes had mixed in with his. It was a bit silly, though, especially since she had her own room upstairs with a closet (which, he was a bit happy to say, was a bit smaller than his). Jim had wondered why they had made such an arrangement but then decided it was probably best not to dwell upon it too much, considering Laura had made the decision on her own and he didn't want to fight over it (and have to deal with her whining and complaining about it.)

He didn't really mind that there weren't that many clothing options he was seeing, that wasn't really the issue, but rather he just felt that it was something to get a little bit more engaging. There weren't that many times that the company hosted a company-wide party at the country club near the beach and he, as one of the middle managers, had the responsibility of showing up and having a good time.

Jim was happy, though, as he looked in the mirror and saw the results in his exercising with Sean. His legs looked much better and, though his thighs were a bit thick, they were still shapely and matched his figure. Even his ass, which was a bit round, was still surprisingly bouncy and when he smacked it, Jim laughed as it jiggled just a bit. One of the girls working in his department, Samantha, had joked that he had an ass that put most women to shame and hips of a goddess. For some reason, that made him blush.

"Dad? It's almost time to get going!"

Jim nodded and after he finished one more bit of touching up on his makeup, he finished adjusting his tie and then walked out into the hallway where Angela and Laura were sitting at the counter. Both looked up and flashed a thumbs up at his appearance before Angela handed him a small pouch, saying that it held some makeup to touch himself up when he had the chance.

After smiling and greeting several people on his way in, Jim glanced over at his seat near the middle of the floor, and just sighed. He didn't like parties, especially ones where he was sitting next to people he didn't really know or get to know, but he supposed that was just one of the things he had to deal with. IT didn't help that half the people were from other branches and departments that he had never seen before.

Taking a quick chance after the music changed, he made his way to the back of the hall and found a small spot out in the courtyard where he sat down and kicked back, resting his feet and rubbing one of his ankles. He liked the way the heels made his legs look but it definitely took a toll on his ankles. After a few more moments of massaging them, he slipped out the quiz from the bag and looked at it.

10.) IF YOU WERE A GIRL...WOULD YOU WEAR A SKIRT?

He thought about that as he looked over at the various people milling about, especially looking at the women more than the men, and he wondered about it for a moment. Jim supposed that it would be easier and more professional if he wore some, though he also knew it would be a bit of a challenge to wearing skirts all the time. What did it for him, though, was the thought of Laura and how plain-Jane she was. Was it fair to use her as a muse? Perhaps not, but the woman did herself no favors.

I would love to wear skirts a lot, especially with nice legs, but dresses too.

Jim tucked it back into his bag and after slipping the heel back on, he slowly got up. He then adjusted the hemline to the dress he was wearing and after making sure that he was, at least, presentable, he took a deep breath and walked back into the hall.

11.) IF YOU WERE A GIRL...WOULD YOU WEAR JEWELRY?

Diamonds...
