Finishing with your breakfast you volunteer to wash the dishes. Your mother opposes but you convince her to let you. She relents.

You take all of their dishes and head to the kitchen. While you are in the kitchen washing the dishes you hear your sister whisper sharply to your mother, the way she does when she is embarrassed about something. You thought nothing about it. After you clean up you head back out.

You see your sister hurriedly stuff something in your mom's purse.

*Weird* you thought. "Hey everything okay you guys?" you ask.

"Oh yeah...it's nothing...HEY listen why don't you and I play some video games huh? Mortal Kombat just like old times. What do you say?" Arya asks you.

"Sure, why not. Besides it'll be fun to see you lose again"

"Oh we'll see who wins and who loses." your sister mock glares at you.

"Play nice kids. I have to go to work early today. There's a big meeting that's going to happen over taking the company public. I'm sorry I have to go early today but I promise we'll talk more once I get back okay?"

"Sure mom, no rush here." You and your sister hug your mom and she kisses each of you and heads out. Both of you just stand there and hear her start the car and it's sound receding as she drives away. Your sister suddenly turns towards you and says "SOoo....ready to get your ass beaten at Mortal Kombat?"

"Well before that can I ask you a question sis?"

"Sure"

"What was that earlier? What did you stuff down mom's purse?"

"Ohh...uhm...you saw...uhh...it's nothing really. Just some stuff I wanted. Let's just go play the game okay?"

"Sure." you say, sensing a bit of discomfort on her part. Although you wouldn't be much of a big brother if you didn't pester her about it. Embarrassing her was your favorite past time. But you followed a rule. You only embarrassed her in private while you protected her in public. And you had a plan to make her tell you about what was it that embarrassed her.

"I don't like the way you're smiling dude. It's creepy." You sister says. Realizing that you were smiling the entire time you quickly wipe the grin off of your face and say "C'mon lets go play the game"
