The sound of crickets outside fill the silence. The sun has long since set, so the only light illuminating the room is from the streetlights outside, and a lamp by Niki's bed. It's enough. You can see the warrior woman's natural beauty as clear as day. She has a crimson gaze--one that strikes fear into her foes, though you have seen the softness within many times. Even now she looks to you, not with rage, but with something else.

"What a wild day," she says. "Good job coming to to find us. I don't know what would have happened to Amara or Eva if you didn't grab them."

"You would have been fine?"

"Sure! I mean, one hit by those arrows and Fang and I probably would have... uhm. Nevermind. Thanks for coming for me too."

"No problem. Guess if we face her again, we gotta be really careful not to get shot. Though I guess that's usually the plan with arrows in the first place."

"I'd rather a situation like that happen to me than get killed by a real shot."

"So you'd enjoy it?"

"Oh come on! I said I'd rather that then die!"
