Chapter 15 by Absentedmindedspirit Absentedmindedspirit

Well?

More Alone Time

"Ugh!", her step-mother groaned as soon as she was a half step from the bolted door.

"I can stand that old biddy!"

"Why?"

"She's the absolute worst, she chairs the homeowner's association. If she knew I was fostering you on your probabtion she'd be livid and I'd probably be kicked out of the neighborhood!"

"Oh, I'm so sorry, I had no idea!"

"It's not your fault, cream-puff, that witch just has it out for me, it has nothing to do, well, except your diapering."

"Huh?"

"Yeah, I had to change you in front of her, and lie about your age, I can't have her getting suspicious, I want to keep you safe with me and out of prison!"

"Oh, thank you!", Margaret leapt up and hugged the good-looking woman in the red silk robe, grateful now for her shameful and public diapering in front of the neighborhood gossip.

Her step-mother retrieved her stash, stashed under the couch and handed it to Margaret.

"Wake and bake baby, you ain't even been here 24 hours!"

As Margaret inhaled, she asked, "Do you remember being 10? I hear you get a childhood amnesia when you get older."

Her stepmother took the pipe and held it with baited breath.

"It was fun, but, well, home was fun. Mom and Dad were still here, but school was...a little rough."

"Oh, I'm sorry sweetie."

"I always loved learning, but school wasn't like that, not until Dad made enough to send me to the Prep School."

"Do you remember sick days?", she asked as she absent mindedly switched on the TV.

There was the regular host, it was the beginning of the Price is Right!

"I loved sick days!", this time Margaret made herself another shot.

"This is kind of like a sick day, she observed, except I feel better than ever!"

How do the good times roll?
