What's next?
Misandra and the maid
Missandra sighed. Karus was talking to her. This whole meeting was little more than a formality and she had to be there to represent the orc tribes. It was tedious and dull and to make the whole thing worse, the Maou wasn’t even there. The one benefit of this diplomatic drudgery was that she would get to spend some time with him and get laid for a change. Being smart had lifted her up to perhaps the most influential position an Ork could hold but it also made her extremely undesirable to orc men. Her bodyguards were very respectful but the couple of times she had tried to get one to sleep with her they had been repulsed.
Other races found her attractive but there weren’t many that she found desirable. Even the Moau wasn’t exactly her type but he had asked her to join him in his bed chamber and she had agreed out of politeness. It turned out that his supreme strength made him worth putting up with his lack of desirability and she had come to eagerly anticipate these opportunities to get fucked. If only he would agree to have a child with her. She would have gladly accepted an illegitimate bastard. She just had a huge biological drive to breed and her choices were an orc or a true demon.
She looked at Karus and pondered if it would be with pretending to be flattered by his smooth words just on the off chance that he might put a baby in her. He had several illegitimate children already if the rumours were true. No, she couldn’t bring herself to bed the smarmy demon.
While pretending to listen, she looked about the dining hall. Other delegates were engaged in conversations. Her high status meant that she was in place of honour. A spot she would usually have relished as she enjoyed the Maou’s company outside the bedroom as much as in. He had an inquisitive mind and took a genuine interest in what she had been up to. Karrus was just trying to impress her with his boasting.
As she looked, one of the maids caught her eye. “Forgive me for interrupting your story, Karus,” she said, touching his arm. “Is that a human I see, working for the maids?”
Karus looked over. “Yes, I believe so,” said Karus, distastefully. “Something the Maou collected I believe. The flimsy little creature caused quite the scandal in the city. I can’t say I approved but you know what his magnificence is like. He has unusual tastes.”
Misandra was convinced that this was borderline heresy. Karus must be feeling confident with the Maou away travelling. “I haven’t seen a human in years. I’ve been too far away from the borderlands. I would like her to be my attendant during my stay.”
“You too, eh? No wonder you get on so well with him.” Karus summoned the maid who was attending their section of the long table. “Have the human girl sent over to us. I wish to talk to her.” The maid curtseyed and ran off to Leaf. Missandra observed the maid as she told the human girl who looked a little frightened but nevertheless came walking at a pace to the head of the table.
“You wished to speak to me, my lord,” said the sweet young maid with a little curtsey and appropriately averted eyes.
“Hardly. I’d rather not talk to you at all but the ambassador here has requested you to be her attendant. Make arrangements for your post to be covered and return here ready for your new duties.”
“Yes, my lord,” said the girl with a hint of uncertainty and ran off to do as she was told.
A short while later the girl returned. “It is done, my lord,” she said and Karus just waved her in the direction of Missandra. “What is your name, human?”
The girl looked briefly into Missnadra’s face and she saw the girl briefly smile before remembering herself and averting her gaze. “It is Leaf, ambassador.”
“Leaf? Not a very human name, in my limited experience.”
“I chose it myself. My parents didn’t name me anything.”
“I see, fascinating. Well, Leaf, head to my chambers and lay out my night clothes. I require a couple of bottles of red wine and a platter of meats and cheeses for my supper. I believe your chef knows my tastes. You may await me there.”
Leaf curtseyed and disappeared to do her job. “I’m not sure why you would want it touching your things,” said Karus.
“I wish to speak with her about her experience of a human living among demon realm people,” said Missandra.
“Whatever the ambassador wishes but I can’t understand why.”
Missandra decided to try and get this evening over and done with. For want of sex, some interesting conversation would have to suffice.
Leaf was trying not to panic as she headed back from the kitchen with the wine and two glasses while Graff put together Missandras supper. She had not enjoyed having to deal with Karus in this body and that had been pretty stressful. As happy as she had been to see Misandra, she couldn’t help worrying that if anyone knew her well enough to bust her it would be her.
She set down the bottles and opened one to give it a chance to breathe. She had actually picked out the wine herself as she knew exactly what Missandra liked. She thought hard. The last thing she wanted was to be making up a full life history as the inquisitive Misandra pressed her for details. She was bound to slip up and a suspicious Misandra could be trouble. She needed a distraction. Normally Leaf would have been the distraction that Misanda was looking for but she wasn’t convinced that she could seduce Misandra in this body. Then she remembered the last time Misandra had visited and a certain reaction to a little green friend. A smile crept onto her lips. She just needed to steer the conversation the right way. After she had collected the supper and laid out a familiar-looking nightgown, Leaf heard the door to the apartment open and she stood demurely in waiting as handmaids should.
“You are here, excellent,” said Misandra as she swept into the room. “That was as dull and dreary as I had feared it would be. That Karus does nothing but speak about himself and the former Maou. The current Maou should execute him, I am convinced he is not to be trusted.” Missandra gave Leaf a hard stare. “You keep your mouth shut about what you hear me say, understand?”
“Yes, ambassador,” said Leaf, struggling to hide her amusement.
“You find me amusing? How interesting. I heard that most humans were afraid of orcs.”
“I have lived in the demon lands long enough to see scarier things, ambassador.”
“Ugh, drop the formalities. Call me Miss if you must but drop the ambassador, it’s exhausting.”
“Yes, Miss.”
Misandra turned her back to Leaf and Leaf realised that she was waiting for her to undress her. She smiled as she began to unlace the back of Misandra’s gown. It was not the first time she had done this. “So, human. What brings a delicate little thing like you so far into the demon lands?”
Leaf gave her her well-practised story. “I was abandoned in an attack near the border when I was young. I was sold as an oddity to one of the minor true demon lords that live out that far. One of the higher lords bought me as a gift for the Maou as they had heard he was interested in humans and he took me in as a maid.”
“A maid,” hummed Misandra as she stepped out of her garments, revealing her muscular green body. “I assume the Maou took you as one of his bed partners.”
“No, Miss. I am very new and the Maou went travelling a little before I arrived. I haven’t had the honour of being invited to his bed.”
“I see.” This seemed to please Misandra. “I have found a rare creature indeed. A human and an untouched maid. Are you a virgin?”
“I’m not sure how to answer that.”
“Why? It seems a perfectly normal question.”
“I have never slept with a man.”
“I see,” smiled Misandra as the sheer robe slipped onto her. “Will you be unhappy when the Maou invites you to his bed?”
“I am not uninterested in men if that is what you mean.”
“You speak boldly for one so puny, little maid. Thankfully for you, I appreciate boldness but be wary of speaking to others like that.”
“As you say, Miss.”
Misandra walked over to the wine and examined the bottle. “An excellent choice, my favourite.”
“Graff advised me.”
“Well, he did excellently. Also, do pass on my appreciation for his cooking. His delicious food was the one thing that made the evening bearable.” She reached for a glass. “Two glasses? Were you hoping I would share?”
“I didn’t know if you were expecting company tonight, Miss.”
Missandra sighed and draped herself on the bed, her robe revealing one green leg. “No, more’s the pity. The Maou usually entertains me on these occasions.”
Leaf saw an opportunity to ask a personal question under the guise of innocence. “Do you love the Maou?”
Missandra laughed. “What a question. What makes you ask that?”
“You just seem very sad that he isn’t available.”
“Sad? A little maybe. I do enjoy his company and he is one of few I would consider a friend.”
“A friend?” Leaf was genuinely moved that Misandra should feel that way about her.
“Is that so shocking? I don’t love him, at least, not in that way but he is dear to me. If I seem sad it is because I am frustrated. I had hoped that he would bed me. I have needs that orc men are unwilling to satisfy. The Maou provides me with much-needed relief. I am frustrated that he is not here.”
Leaf felt sorry for Misandra. She thought Misandra was incredibly attractive and many men did but she was an orc and longed for the touch of an orc. “What about another man?” Leaf suggested.
“Another man? No, I don’t think there are any that would appeal.”
“If I may? I know of a green-skinned servant on the staff who has quite the reputation as a lover.”
Misandra sat up and looked at Leaf. “Do you mean that little one?” She seemed genuinely interested. “He was terribly little but I do remember him smelling awfully good.”
“He does smell nice,” said Leaf, getting lost in her thoughts. “He isn’t that little anymore.”
“Really?” asked Misandra, her curiosity piqued.
“He is taller than me,”
“What was his name?”
“Gob, Miss.”
“We are talking about the same creature then. Bigger than you you say?”
“Yes, Miss. I believe he evolved as he levelled up.”
“Do you know where to find him?” Misandra asked with a faint smile on her lips.
Leaf returned the smile. “I could have him here in a few minutes. If you wish it.”
“Yes, Leaf. I think I do wish it. Please have him come here, and Leaf?”
“Yes, Miss?”
“Do hurry.”
Leaf shared Misandra’s smile. “Yes, Miss,” she said and dashed out of the room.
