Mira isnt broken

Mira heard the man coming, but she was so content in the muscular arms that she didnt pay them any mind.

"Give her to us, beast. We will give you another toy to play with" One of the guards said

"No" it took a while for them, all of them, to realize the Ogre had spoken.

"Are you an idiot? give her to us! Master Marus said..." The bold guard stepped forward, confident his numbers would save him.

"NO! She mine!" Marus laughed even more at the plight of his men, not particularly caring if some or many got hurt fighting the beast. The next group would come with polearms, and if he needed yet more, well there were crossbows. But the demon lord didnt expect what happened next.

"I ..." Gullak bludgeoned a guard with another guard "...LOVE..." he batted him outside the gate, and followed him out "MIRA!" Mira was still carefully cuddled under his other arm, and leaned her head against his shoulder. "I love you too", she kissed his cheek.

Fear struck Marus. His guards were being slaughtered by the Ogre Berserker, and if he truly loved her, and the possibility had never occurred to her, than the Ogre was one of the rare creatures that could, indeed, strike him a deadly blow. He was far from defenseless, he had several mystical weapons, demons and monsters under his command, but he didnt expect a rebellion in his moment of triumph. He turned into a shadow and fled.

Once the guards saw their leader fleeing, most took the same choice, leaving behind only Mira, Gurrak, and the prisoners.
