Your Dynasty is old beyond all the people of the real world can measure, but by the standards of the Imperium it is still in its prime. Your ship is a grand affair, but not as glorious as many other dynasties, and your reputation is neither good nor bad, rather you are seen as an unknown quantity. Perhaps your ancestors have been rehabilitating the reputation of a dynasty once spoken of with contempt, perhaps your father or mother has tarnished a once sterling reputation to the point that many who once counted you their friends now shun your company, whatever the reason you and yours are spoken of with reverence in some areas and dismissed in others. You your family has, from its first days as rogue traders, counted the Ecclesiarchy as your closest allies. You received your warrant from the hand of the Mad High Lord Goge Vandire, then in a move of prescient clarity turned against him to side with Sebastian Thor during the reformation. Many others from that era did not, and were sent to the pyre in chains for it. Even today the Ecclesiarchy are your stout allies, and your reputation among them is spotless.

You begin with a respectable ship and a healthy purse. You have 50SP (Ship Points) with which to design your vessel and 40PF (Profit Factor) to support your crew and equip your retinue. You and your staff may each make 2 starting acquisitions.
