Chapter 5 by Frank89 Frank89

What's next?

Meet the Sisters

"This place is not suited for you." said Katarina, using Lauren's own words. Her lips twisting into a wicked sneer.

Lauren just rolled her eyes. "I came to see you."

"To bask in the poverty I live in?" asked Katarina, her voice mirroring contempt. "Really mature of you..." She definitely sounded more confident in her comfort zone.

"No..." replied Lauren meekly, though it did fill her with a certain satisfaction seeing how her rival lived. "I wanted to talk to you."

"What if I don't want to talk to you?" shot back Katarina, her eyes as defiant as back in her school years.

"I..." started Lauren. What? She did not expect that answer. Who was she to refuse her? HER? "It's important." she finally said with the politest smile she could muster.

"Well, do come in then." said Katarina, opening the door and ushering her into the room. "Let none question the hospitality of my 'kind'." she scoffed, using air quotes.

Lauren certainly hadn't stopped disliking Katarina, if anything she hated the bitch even more, but she couldn't help but notice how different she looked standing in the environment of the seedy motel and run-down room. As much as she hated admitting it, Katarina had always been pretty. One of the reasons everyone loved her back in school. Everyone, apart from her victims, that is. Since being expelled, she had changed a lot, but her exotic features remained the same. And that stupid 'vampire' accent added to her feminine mystique. Now she was the trashy kind of woman. Still pretty enough, if one was into such things. And while she had been sticking out in Lauren's classy neighbourhood like a sore thumb earlier, her dark outfit and dusty boots fit in the trashy surrounding seamlessly. And Lauren couldn't help but wonder whether this lifestyle fit Katarina more than her classy lifestyle would have. She certainly didn't seem bothered by it. If anything, she seemed to have embraced it over the years.

As Lauren stepped into the messy room, the smell of cheap cigarette smoke filled her nostrils. She noticed two women of similar age, and social status, sitting on the patched couch, watching television. "I... I didn't know you had guests..." she stammered, feeling uncomfortable in their presence. Her initial confidence slowly crumbling at the sight of the 'enemy forces'.

"Well, they live here with me. You are my only 'guest'. Chickas, this is Lauren. Lauren, these are the sisters." introduced them Katarina.

The two women waved at the newcomer but did not bother getting up from their comfortable seats or even looking at her. A gesture that Lauren found extremely rude. One of them was a small redhead the other a big brunette, so she figured they were not real sisters, nor Katarina's. But that still didn't explain their total disinterest in her. She was a well-dressed, formal lady, after all. She should have been pampered by them in hopes of finding valid jobs. Or maybe a green card...

"The Lauren you travelled all this way to visit?" asked the brunette one, rubbing her eyes like she had just woken up.

"The same." nodded Katarina as she closed the door behind Lauren.

"Wonderful! I see you've made up, then. Everything is A-OK, yes?" asked the redhead, way too cheerful to not be under some kind of psychotropic substance.

"That is an excellent question, Dori." smiled Katarina and turned towards Lauren with a raised eyebrow. "Well?"

"Can we talk in private?" asked Lauren, nodding towards the two women on the couch.

"Well, I can't just toss them out from the room they payed for, can I?" shrugged Katarina, but her eyes showed curiousity towards Lauren. She felt she came for a reason.

"Let's continue this in my car, then. It's parked near the entrance." said Lauren, motioning Katarina to follow her.

"The BMW? I wouldn't bet on it still being there..." mumbled the redhead and the two giggled.

"What is going on, Lauren? You toss me out like trash and now you come to my place and think you're calling the shots?" asked Katarina, pacing around on the dirty carpet. "Call me paranoid, but I don't think leaving this room is a good idea for me."

"You... You think I came here to hurt you?" asked Lauren, hurt by the mere idea of being accused of such horrible things. Not that it hadn't occured to her to send someone after Katarina in the past. It had. Multiple times, in fact. But this was serious business. "I have a matter to discuss with you."

"Shoot."

"A private matter."

"Shoot." said Katarina again, her hands on her hips, impatiently waiting for Lauren to finally make some sense. She glanced at her 'sisters'. "Oh, don't mind them. We sisters keep no secrets from each other."

Lauren glanced around the room nervously. It was small and extremely open. There were barely any separate rooms. She could spot a tiny bedroom and a bathroom, and even those had no doors. There was nowhere to go where the other two losers wouldn't be able to hear their discussion.

"Come, sit." said Katarina, ushering her to a small, worn table. "Have a drink." she poured some clear liquid into a small cup and pushed it towards the empty chair.

Lauren tried to calm her breathing. This... environment was repulsive to her fine senses. She was used to meeting others in cafes or restaurants not... not like this. And she felt herself threatend by the other two women. But the case she came to discuss with Katarina was serious business. It had been ruining her life for years now. And it wasn't like regular doctors would be able to help her with a curse. They would just laugh at her. She needed the help of this... 'witch'. And she knew she would not be staying in town for much longer. Trying to come back tomorrow could already be too late.

"Fine." she relented and sat down opposite to Katarina. She picked up the cup and sniffed it. It smelled as disgusting as she had expected.

"You still think of me as a monster, your enemy. It's not poison. See?" said Katarina, taking a sip directly from the bottle. A long sip, if there ever was one.

Classy... It was probably the first time Lauren had seen anyone drinking shots straight from the bottle ever since high school. She chugged the few sips from her own cup. "Blergh!" she spat at its taste. It was no poison, but maybe that would have been more preferable. "What the heck was that?"

"Palinca. You wouldn't know." shook her head Katarina, giggling at Lauren's reaction. "So. Back to the matter at hand. You wanted to ask me what exactly?"

Lauren glanced at the two goonies on the couch, who seemed to be watching cartoons. Clearly a sign of their... unrefined intellect. They were within earshot, but Lauren just hoped they were occupied enough with Tom & Jerry to not listen to them. "The curse you mentioned."

"Oh, I told you. It's just silly superstition." shrugged Katarina. "You came all this way to ask me to curse someone?" she smiled, shaking her head in disappointment.

"I want you to lift the curse." whispered Lauren, thinking of how foolish she must have sounded saying those exact words. Like a bad fairy tale. But she was indeed the fair princess in need of a witch.

"You're just teasing me." laughed Katarina, trying to peer through Lauren's defenses.

"No. This is dead serious."

"It worked?" asked Katarina, her facial features changing from displaying distrust to showing genuine interest.

Lauren felt her cheeks flooded with a blush. She cast her gaze at the empty cup in her hand and nodded.

"You're shitting me... I can't believe it! It really worked?" cheered Katarina. Then she noticed Lauren staring daggers at her. "Don't take it too personally. It's not everyday you learn you can cast curses." she tried to explain her earlier outburst.

"You have to help me." urged her Lauren, noticing the two numb numbs taking peeks at her, obviously listening in on their conversation. How could she blame them? They were adults talking about... magic. Of course they were listening. "Lift the curse!" she demanded.

"Aiwa. Which one?"

"Why, all of them!"

"You don't understand. I never thought it was real. I cast a lot of 'em. Almost unconsciously." explained Katarina. "Which one did work? Which one do you want me to lift?" she probed her former victim.

"All... all of them..." repeated Lauren, her cheeks turning another shade of crimson.

"Y-You mean... the boobs... and the virgin...?"

"Yes..." nodded Lauren, feeling utterly humiliated and extremely powerless.

"You mean to tell me that you still have no boobs and you are still a virgin?" asked Katarina, to clarify what she had just heard. "At age 22?"

Lauren nodded, her eyes welling up with tears. Katarina burst out laughing, and so did her 'sisters' on the couch. And Lauren could do nothing but endure it. Not even her family knew of her secrets. And letting Katarina in on them was making her extremely uncomfortable. But she depended on her help. It took several minutes for the small room to calm down again.

"Sorry..." panted Katarina. "That was just... funny..."

"It's not funny!" stood up Lauren, trying to demand respect.

"Sure it is, little girl!" yelled the brunette from the couch, still giggling.

"Misi!" Katarina looked at the brunette menacingly and she went silent immediately. "Sorry, really." she regained her composure. "Can... can I see them?"

"What?"

"Your... boobies."

"NO!" screamed Lauren, crossing her arms defensively over her bosom. She hadn't bared them to anyone in years. They were her... her little secret.

"Call it... professional curiousity. Gotta see them." insisted Katarina. "Not that I haven't before..." she smirked.

"You'll just laugh..."

"Yes, I might. But do you want me to lift the curse or not?"

"Can you do that?"

"I... I should be able to, yes." said Katarina, rubbing the back of her neck. "But, you see, I gotta see you are not just messing with me. You seem to have a generous amount up top." she gestured towards Lauren's chest straining against her expensive shirt.

Lauren looked towards the couch and saw the two women now sitting backwards, facing her. Like they were expecting a show. Well, they really were expecting a show. Her show, to be more precise. "Not with them here." nodded Lauren in their direction.

"Oh, we're not leaving now that it's starting to get interesting." grinned the redhead. The brunette still remained silent, seemingly afraid of Katarina's wrath.

"No way!" argued Lauren.

"Come on, honey. Think of them as my... assistants." Katarina reasoned. "Plus I did drink a lot. I might need a second opinion. Dori and Misi can be my eyes."

"You can't be serious."

"How did you put it before? Oh, yeah. This is 'dead serious'." grinned Katarina.

Lauren contemplated her situation. She did come to see Katarina of her own free will. Admitting her little... problem was already humiliating in itself. But she really wanted her to remove the curse. I can endure a bit more, she thought. Just think of the upside, she reasoned with herself. And she started unbuttoning her blazer.

"Bow chicka wow wow." hummed the redhead before Katarina silenced her with a raised hand. Clearly she was the alpha female among the 'sisters'. Which was strange, as the brunette was definitely a lot taller and stronger than any of them and the redhead was the sassiest of the bunch. But apparently, Katarina had lost none of the superior presence she had back in school.

As Lauren removed her blazer and started unbuttoning her shirt, she could feel the room getting dead silent. She could hardly imagined a worse nightmare than standing in an outlandish seedy motel room baring her sacred bosom to her mortal enemy. But what choice did she have? She opened her shirt and her bulky bra came into view.

"That's a nice bra you got there." smirked Katarina, clearly amused by the spectacle. "Lots of protection..."

Lauren choked back a sob as she removed two silicone falsies from her already bulky wonderbra. Each of them weighing about 5 pounds. The bra hang loosely without anything to fill them. Then she pulled it over her breasts and willingly bared her little boobies for the first time in her life... in this case, to the hungry wolves. She tried to position herself so that the 'goonies' wouldn't see, but the room was too small and open.

"Woah..." was all Katarina could say.

The two numb numbs immediately burst out laughing at the sight of Lauren's boyish flat chest, topped with tiny, pink nipples. There was not a hint of breast tissue around her nips. They could practically see the ribs under the two immature nubs. "Like an infant..." one of them snickered. "Not even a mouthful..."

Lauren quickly pulled her bra down, hastily filling the cups with the falsies. It was mortifying, but it was finally over. If this was necessary for Katarina to remove the curse, then so be it.

"Well, the curse certainly did work..." said Katarina, unabled to stifle a giggle. "My granny would be so proud of me..."

"You've had your laugh." said Lauren, buttoning her shirt. "Now remove the curse!" she ordered, trying to demand repect. Which was hard considering she had just displayed her flat chest to her enemy and her two 'sisters'. After realizing her situation she meekly added, "Please..."

Katarina was rubbing her forehead, looking at the table in front of her, mumbling to herself. The room again went silent in anticipation of her next move.

"You can remove it, can you?" asked Lauren, deathly afraid of a potential rejection.

"I could," started Katarina, letting Lauren's eyes fill with hope, "but I don't want to." she added, mirroring how Lauren had rejected her apology before.

Lauren immediately recognised her own words. She had expected as much. And in a way, she did deserve such a response. But she came all this way because she was determined to see the matter through. And she was willing to do anything to see it through. With tears in her eyes, she fell to her knees on the dusty carpet in front of Katarina. "Please." she sobbed as she hugged the woman's boot-clad feet. "I beg of you. Please, please, please."

"Calm yourself!" said Katarina, kicking Lauren off of her. "Stand up. I was just joking." she admitted, savouring Lauren's complete and total surrender. "Now at least you know how I felt back at your place. But I won't send you away. Because unlike you, I'm not that petty. I'm bigger than you." She glanced at Lauren's fake bust, "A lot bigger."

"So you'll remove it?" asked a surprised Lauren as she stood up.

"Yes..." mumbled Katarina, standing up and circling Lauren. "Yes. But it is going to be a long and hard job." she looked at Lauren, her eyes filled with a determination she had never seen before. "For the both of us. Especially for you."

"What do you mean?" asked Lauren, wiping her tears off her face.

"We gotta find the exact words of the curses. All of them. We gotta figure out the families they belong to. We gotta lift each and every one of them separately. Since I cast them all at once, until we destroy the last one, they will all prevail through a bond."

This was all new information to Lauren. She only ever heard of curses in tales, but even she assumed it would be harder than waiting for a prince to kiss her. "Can't... Can't you just uncurse me now?" she whined, wanting to get it over with as soon as was possible.

"If only... You don't understand. I'm no expert on this matter. Only remember what little my granny had told me when I was a kid." explained Katarina. "Cursing is easier than lifting curses. And the longer a curse has been active, the harder it is to remove it. Some may require... bizarre rituals or unique places, depending on their strength. You got to trust me on that."

"But... you can do it, right?"

"Yes. But it will take time. At least a week. And I will need you by my side throughout it. The closer the cursed and the caster are, the weaker the link will be. Which is imperative if we aim to break this link."

"I... I can take a week off, if it is that necessary." said Lauren.

"You tell me. Is it?"

"YES! Yes, I'll take a week off." pressed Lauren. Heck, if the bitch could remove her curses, she should be able to find a new, better job if necessary. "We can... we can even take my car."

"Guess I won't be calling guys to take a BMW then..." shrugged the redhead. "I'll make sure the car isn't stolen by anyone till the morning. But you owe me, flattie. Big time!"

"Splendid. We'll be leaving tomorrow morning. I guess you'll be staying with us for the night then. I guess that's a welcome. More than the one you gave me... Make yourself at home." smiled Katarina as she motioned around in the small room. "We have a long road ahead of us."
