Max, unfortunately, knows the copy paste shortcuts

As you were momentarily caught enjoying the sight and pondering how to make it better, you hear furious clattering of keys. You turn around and see Max have pasted the previous command in, and quickly changed the X and Y to Alex and Max. You try to slap the laptop away from his hands, but an inch away from the screen he releases the enter button and you stop yourself as you realize that would be an hostile act towards Max.

"Oh shit," you say and feel dread sink like a rock into your gut.

"Just a suggestion: Be nice now," Max said with a smile.

"Okay," you say in a chirpy tone as you feel a bit less gloomy, and sit down to have a honest heart to heart with Max about this. "I knew I should have figured you had a plan for that text when you copied it."

"Yeah, it's not cheating to copy when you're not writing an essay," Max agreed before changing to a more serious tone, folding his hands and pointing his index fingers at you. "Now, don't take this personally, but I think you would do much better with some improvements.

"Well, we're all human around here," you say and give a small laugh. Some part of you realizes this is probably going to end poorly, but if you're being nice, he might let you off the hook.
