Who does Erica see?

"Oh, thank God it's you!" Mary hadn't changed much since Erica had met her on her first day at the college. She was her first college mentor, before she became an RA. Unfortunately, she had also caught Erica more than once when she was dealing with the aftermath of her past humiliations. Since Erica could not tell the truth and came up with poor excuses, Mary had lost much of her patience when dealing with her.

"What is it?" Mary asked.

"Alicia! She told me you sent her to have me sign forms, but she disappeared and isn't letting me sign." The words came tumbling from her mouth in one quick breath. "She told me the forms are mandatory for participation in the Living History Camp, and if I don't sign the form I won't be able to pass my class this semester..."

By this point, Mary had reached the door to her room. She raised her hand to cut off the babbling girl. "I can honestly tell you that I don't know what you're talking about. Alicia isn't working tonight. She said she had a special project to take care of and I gave her the night off."

Erica frowned at that revelation. Alicia had come to her dorm and tried to get her to sign something. If Mary didn't send her, what could it have been?

Mary continued by asking a question. "Which onsite review did you register for?"

"Pagan Traditions," Erica answered.

"Well, there is a form for that field trip, but it's hardly mandatory," Mary scoffed. "The thing about Pagan traditions is that some variants of Paganism perform some or all of their traditions in the nude."

Erica's eyes widen. "Nude?" She didn't know about that when she registered.

"Yes, nude. The form is a waiver. Those that sign are expected to participate in all of the activities during the week exactly as the Pagans would. You could call it a nudity consent form, I guess."

Erica stared at Mary. She couldn't believe that students would actually file the waiver to participate in the traditions nude? "Why would anybody sign that?"

"I would have thought something like that would have been right up your alley," Mary said flippantly. "Honestly, it isn't any of my business." She opened the door to her room and disappeared inside. Since she had left the door open, Erica stood there waiting for her. When Mary came back, she had the form in her hand. "Here. Take it. Sign it, don't sign it, it's not my problem and I don't care. You have until you sign-in after you arrive at the camp to fill it out."

Erica take the form with trembling hands.

"Now get out of here. I need my beauty sleep!" Mary closed the door.

Erica made her way back to her dorm.
