Martial Arts

Martial Arts are a group of magical skills primarily practiced in House Toscra. Most Martial Arts tend to be usable in multiple situations, but there are some things you just have to use magic for. Sometimes people refer to Martial Arts as using "ki", but it's all just magic. A martial art move is written like this.

Name (Difficulty, Bonus): Description, Tags, Requirements.

To use a Martial Art move you roll with Physical. Bonus refers to the minimum bonus from XP to the style and move you have to have before you have to roll with Arcane as well. Bonuses from multiple groups don't stack.

Martial Art moves generally have a Hard and a Soft version. If you know one, the other costs only one XP to learn.

Basic Moves:

Soft Energy Palm (7, 0): You touch someone and gently push some of your magical energy into them. This is very pleasurable for the target. Basic, Erotic, Hand. Requirements: None.

Hard Energy Palm (7, 0): You touch someone and forcefully push some of your magical energy into them. This affects them as though you had hit them. Basic, Attack, Hand. Requirements: None.

Soft Throbbing Palm (9, 1): You lay your hand on someone's head and push your energy into them with a pulse echoing your heartbeat. This gives them a -2 on all rolls, and makes it difficult for them to think. The target enjoys the sensation. Erotic, Hand, Mind. Requirements: Soft Energy Palm (Advancement).

Soft Aura (8, 1): You cover your body with an aura of magic power. You gain a temporary +1 to Physical, and a +2 to resist any mind affecting spell or technique. However, if the attempt succeeds, you are affected much more strongly, Arouse sending you into heat, Suggestion causing you to become obedient, etc. Basic, Defense, Body. Requirements: None.

Hard Aura (9, 2): You cover your body with an aura of magic power. You gain a temporary +1 to Physical, and all physical attacks have a -1 against you. Basic, Defense, Body.
