Mars Orbital Colony: Delta

Some time in the future, humanity had developed far beyond what was possible. From clean, renewable energies to altering genetics, increasing a persons life expectancy and allowing them to alter their form even to that of an anthropomorphic. This, of course, was leading Earth to the brink of over population. To combat this, Orbital Space Colonies were sent off into space to find new planets to live on. While some would find ones that could sustain life, others would be required to be terraformed in order for populating.

One of the oldest colonies and closets to Earth was sent to Mars as an experimental planet to test terraforming theories with hope of possibly streamlining the process. One part of the colony's experiments was the lack of lavatories to help conserve water and power. Instead, the colony was equipped with Disposable Waste Undergarments that were sanitary, recyclable and the primary fuel source to power the main reactor when they've been properly used and disposed of.

It has been 50 Standard Earth Years since the Mars Orbital Colony: Delta began the task of terraforming the planet and the crew of 750, made up of human and anthropomorphic, have worked together and grown close to one another.
