Makes a few...calls

"Hold on, there's just one more thing. We do have to process you to fully integrate your condition into our system. Could you just check over these papers regarding your personal information? I'll be submitting them pretty soon to higher officials."

"Sure..." said Clara, taking an orange envelope from Jenny and calming down a little bit. She tried to act as awkward as possible as she thought she would act in the normal situation. Taking out the papers from the envelope, she heard Jenny speak again.

"By the way, Clara, I'm going to make a few calls right now to some people to also help get you processed. You should actually go outside for a bit and wait until I call you back in while I make the call, it'll be about a minute."

Clara felt confused. "Okay...but if it's about me, what's the problem?"

Jenny sighed. "Come on Clara, you should know this by now, but listening to phone calls in this particular office can distort your sense of hearing, I'm only trying to keep you safe. I've already taken precautions against it, but not you."

Clara understood the premise instantly. She wanted to do something else as well? Bring it, Jenny! She thought to herself, her insides beginning to fire up again. She was curious, however, as to who Jenny would actually be calling.

It seemed longer than an eternity with Clara's excitement as she waited for Jenny's call.

"Alright Clara, come back inside!" Clara hurried back inside.

"So is everything all good?" she asked, somewhat anxiously as she thought would be normal.

"Yeah, there's no problem. Actually, we've assigned you a caretaker, as deemed by the company, to help you throughout the day, in case there are any emergencies. Don't worry about the caretaker at all. Even though he's a male, he's actually been trained ahead of time very precariously for this kind of situation and he passes all of the moral requirements, so you can be sure that he won't take advantage of you no matter what." Jenny was obviously suppressing a smile.

Clara was snickering on the inside as well. "That's good to hear, I'm glad to know that he'll be responsible."

"Yeah, don't worry about it. I've called him down here to talk to you actually, you'll be following him around very often, so it's important to talk to him right now."

"Alright, that's okay, who is it?"
