Make your way home.

"Koblix?" you grab his attention. "My name's Kyle. I appreciate you telling us what you know, but you better not be lying. Either way, we need to get home and recover. This day was pure chaos. But I have a question. If you don't work for this Demon King anymore, then why are you in the city watching his people? Isn't it dangerous for you here?"

He nods. "It is. But I just couldn't wait and watch anymore. I've worked for some nasty people, because that's what goblins do, but I'm cursed. I'm not like other goblins. So what do I do?"

"Why don't you help us take her out? Then you can feel safer too."

"I don't know..." He gulps.

"You can stop being a coward too," Niki says.

"I'm not!" With a sigh, he looks between his feet. "But maybe I'll come find you when I'm ready. You might be onto something after all."

Niki smacks you on the back. "Plus, we're the heroes. You can trust us!"

I wouldn't trust our party if I were him.

"Let's finally finish up our day out," you say. "I'm going to grab a couple things and we'll all meet back at the manor."

Everybody eagerly agrees.

Time passes. You purchase a scabbard for your new sword, which mostly resembles the old one, though your magic sword fits much more snug. You're exhausted from the day, however, and don't want to spend much more time out and about. You start heading back home. Though you're excited to relax, it feels like you're unable now that you know people are after you. It's a terrible feeling.

Finally, you arrive back at your estate.
