Drew smiled at everyone in the class. He didn't understand why he had to switch classes, but he had several friends in this class, so it wouldn't be so bad. The only thing that bothered him was the way that Alana was staring at him with that goofy smile.

Drew rushed to find his new locker. It was weird that the school had assigned him a new one when the door on his old one refused to close. Why not just fix the old one? It didn't matter, right now he needed to put his stuff away quickly so he wouldn't be late for class.

"Hi Drew!" said Alana. "Oh, it looks like your new locker is next to mine! We're going to be locker neighbors!"

Drew smiled, a bit unnerved.
