Chapter 31 by Groffin Groffin

Xallia is now ready to take all her vows. Make her take them now or later?

Make an honest demon out of Xallia.

You stand and conduct yourself briskly.

"Okay, you are officially eligible now, let's get the contract underway,"

Xallia sits up and catches her breath as you consider how to word your contract.

"You, Xallia, will enter a contract with Anya, Glenda, and I, in order to more securely tether yourself to this mortal plane and sever any lingering control the Demon Lord Thoros might still hold against you.

The conditions of the contract are as follows:

You will enter a marriage with my sisters and I. As members of the Order of the Burning Rose, we have been gifted the authority to declare a legitimate seal of matrimony, so we will conduct the rites for each other ourselves here.

You will swear your devotion and fidelity to us so long as we live and remain in this world. You will remain by our sides loyally, protect us and provide for us and our children to the best of your ability, and never inflict, or allow others to inflict, **** or dishonor onto us through direct ****, subtle craftings, or inaction. You will also not bed any other women without our express permission, and if we do, you will follow any and all conditions we set of you," Xallia huffs at that last.

"In exchange, the three of us will serve and love you in kind. We will attend to your needs, explore the lands alongside you, and bear your progeny. Any kindness and affection done by one side will be appreciated and reciprocated by the other."

Anya picks this moment to chip in, "Don't forget that she owes each of us three an individual and proper wedding ceremony, with reception, consummation night, honeymoon and all the rest, at some point."

You sigh, but nod, "Just as Anya says, though we'll be flexible about that." Xallia cracks a grin, and you try to regain your thread of thought.

"Furthermore, you will also take the vows of a fellow Sister of the Burning Rose. The Burning Rose makes no exclusions against individuals becoming members of her Order based on race or background, and technically her teachings do not make any specific denouncement against demons as a species like many other religious creeds do-"

"As we all already figured out together, get to the point," Xallia drawls out flippantly. You glare but persevere.

"Her only real requirements are that her candidates all be females with unspoiled maidenheads and conduct themselves with actions and demeanor that are not wicked." You look down at Xallia again significantly.

"When you take your vows you will carry yourself as a proper Sister. You will pay due respect to the Goddess, and spread Her teachings through the land. You will defend the innocent against all manner of depraved and vicious assailants or exploiters. You will prevent yourself from being deflowered.

And of course, you will take up our current quest as your own full-heartedly. You will help us reach the High Abbey at Gerlangen unscathed, to deliver the sword of St. Magdalena and a report of last night's attack to the Supreme War Mother, and help organize and execute a counterattack against the demons responsible and reclaim the old abbey, should she require that of us.

Acceptance into the Heirarchy of the Sisters, and all the prestige that grants, will be your compensation, as well as the chance to be part of the war effort that will see Thoros vanquished and slain once and for all.

Will you accept these terms?"

Xallia is silent for a moment, not sneakily picking over your words for a loophole, but maintaining eye contact, letting the gravity of this exchange be fully expressed.

"I will."

Are you able to conduct the proper rituals uninterrupted?
