Make a speech (Hammerhead Route)

There’s something that’s been bothering you for a while. You’re a supervillainess. Someone who has superpowers, and has made multiple attempts to use them for evil. You’re a dangerous criminal who has set her sights on this city! Yet no one seems concerned at all. They’re all going about their business as if nothing bad is happening. Shouldn’t they be scared for their lives!? It’s like they don’t even know you exist, and they definitely don’t fear you. That has to change! Supervillainesses are feared!

You’ll find a major hub in the city that has a lot of people. Like, a ton of them. You’ll stand on top of a building, get everyone’s attention, and give one of those supervillain speeches about how nobody is safe, and soon the city will be under your control. It’ll be sure to scare people so much that news stations will cover it, broadcasting your speech across the city, and maybe even the whole country! That will be sure to show these fools!

…The very thought makes your knees buckle. All of those eyes on you? That’s way too much pressure. You’d faint on the spot. M-Maybe you shouldn’t do anything that would get so much attention. You could give a much smaller speech in a quieter, more secluded location. Somewhere like… the park! That’s it, you’ll go to the local park and give your speech there, near the big fountain in the middle. A decent number of people will listen, and then spread the word. Eventually everyone will be scared without even seeing or hearing your speech. Brilliant! It’s decided then, you’ll go to the park and… give a speech in front of some people… Gulp. Maybe you should have taken a public speaking class.
