Make a break for it

The only way out of this would be to get someone else to help. She knew that. With Mitch feeling the way he looked and with her not having the physical ability to take on these three, Brenda knew it was her only hope to make it to the neighbors on the other side of the hill.

"You're not so hot. You THINK you are, but your not," said the leader as he turned back to watch his partners pummel Mitch.

Brenda saw her opportunity, with his back turned to her, so she bolted toward the front door. She never had a chance.

The man turned and brought a hand down on her shoulder in one fluid motion, spun her around, and then slammed her against the hallway wall.

"You on the other hand, are hot. And you're insistent that we do things the hard way. Fine by me."
