"Hrrmmm," the dragon says. "That could work. If I knew the spell, I could do it myself, but as I child, when I was learning magic, I never expected to be without a mate."

You guide the dragon to a bazaar-like area in the center of town. While most of the stalls and carts seem mundane and normal, two stand out. One hidden mostly by black curtains, seemingly with red light on the inside, and another that seems to be related to the local church, selling charms and holy magic.
