Chapter 5 by DaSachamo
What's next?
Lunch plans.
You: Hey, I have some free time, have to do some grocery shopping so I will be in town if you want to grab lunch. What would you like to eat?
You sent it on the way to the car, *ping* you hear while buckling your seatbelt.
Lisa: I would love to, but everything is closed?
You: Shit I'm sorry, I forgot about that. Puts a damper on that idea.
Lisa: I'll order something and have it delivered.
"Okay." You mutter to yourself, key in the ignition you crank the car and your phone rings again. Looking at it she has sent her address. "Well alrighty then." You say with a little grin. Copy, paste, GPS and on the way.

It takes the better part of half an hour to get there, almost on the other side of town, but it is in a quiet little area. Pulling into the drive you look around and see your car is a few years older than anything else in view. The sedan parked directly in front of yours is only a year or two old, nice little single story brick house, bay windows in the front for the dining area.
Stepping out of the car you can get a. Glimpse into the dining room now that the suns glare isn't directly at you. On the table is a few boxes from the Chinese Takeout a mile up the road. "Well, I'm definitely at the right place." You think to yourself. Right then the front door opens and there she is standing in the threshold. "Took you long enough." She said with a little grin. "Foods getting cold."
"Yeah, lunch rush traffic."
With Lisa standing there you look her over and in person she actually does look familiar. A little under Five and a half feet tall, dirty blond hair a light tan. Her face has a slightly rounded shape to it, overweight by no means but she does have some curves to her body. If you must guess probably D-cup breasts and thighs to match.
You remember her now. She used to hang around with a few of the girls you used to date, she has also slimmed up considerably over the last few years since you last seen her. "What's it been? Seven, eight years?"
"Close." She said, hugging you tightly when you reach her. Unexpected, but welcome regardless. Hugging her back you notice that her hair is still a little damp, the scent of strawberries from her shampoo still strong. "Anyway, let's go eat."
With that the hug was broken and you close the door as she leads you to the table. What you can see the house is actually clean, an odd sight you are not used to seeing as how you usually are picking up the same toys repeatedly. She motions for you to sit down at the head of the table, but you pull out her chair regardless.
"I hope you are not picky, I got a few different things not sure what you would prefer." She tells you sitting down.
"I'm not, it's not often I find a meal I won't eat to tell you the truth."
Catching up with small talk you almost lost track of time. It appears that where you bounced around different jobs, she went to school and got her Bachelors in Business. Now she is working towards starting her own small business while she works as an accountant for a high end shipping company in the next county over. No kids, last boyfriend was a deadbeat, inherited the house from her Aunt who passed away the past spring.
The two of you could honestly consider yourselves opposites in every aspect.
Checking your phone you realize that you really do need to be getting the shopping done and getting back. As you start to make your good-byes she hugs you again, a little tighter this time. "Think we can do this again sometime?"
"Yeah, I would like that."
"I would too." She said quietly before giving you a small kiss on the cheek and opening the door for you.
All in all, that was more enjoyable than you expected.
