Luke to your Wife

“I need my wife back,” You say. “Every time I look at him I see her staring back at me.”

“We can bring her back,” Dante says, putting a hand on your shoulder.

“What will you do?” you ask, sitting down in the living room.

“We’ve got our methods,” Dante said, “It’s best if you don’t know.”

“It’ll be her?”

“We’ll do our best. I can’t make promises about bringing people back to life. She’ll definitely look like her.”

With that Dante left. You sit back unsure what you have just done. But knowing that it’s the best for Luke. You decide to go over a few things in the house and do some work to keep your mind busy.

A little after dinner you hear the front door slam shut.

“Luke?” You ask.

“I’m going to my room!” Luke yells, “There is nothing to do in this shithole, Stepford wives knock off neighborhood!”

You sigh and return to dinner. Hoping that what Dante said would happen soon.
