Lookout With Zoey

Zoey and Finn grabbed all the things they were going to need, and headed out to the forest. The two lovebirds walked together, happy that they were going to spend so much time alone. Zoey was the most excited, as she walked chirply, doing small bounces with every step, as she smiled at Finn, who was also excited, but he didn't show it as much, he just laughed at Zoey's excitement.

They made it to the watchtower that Faranne and Lilith used in the goblin fight yesterday. They inspected the area, before climbing up the tower, and setting their stuff, as this was the first spot they had to look out.

"Alright here we go... we'll have to spend the next several hours together, this is so exciting... Do you have any fun ideas we can do?" - Zoey said cheerfully, as she got in position to look out for the forest. Finn got right next to her, and smiled at her, before replying.

"I thought you were the one that had planned fun activities for us..." - Finn replied playfully, which made Zoey giggle. She always laughed at his small jokes, and basically everything, which was a clear sign that she liked him, and she was hoping he would notice, but at this point, Finn only saw it as her just laughing at everything.

"True, I do have some stuff but that's for later... I guess we could just talk and joke around for now like we always do" - Zoey said, with a friendly tone, but Finn took this opportunity to make another joke.

"And what about the thing that Faranne said? Are we going to mess around later??" - Finn said playfully, but he came off very flirtatiously, which made Zoey giggle again, but now nervously, as she looked away, to hide the fact that she was slightly blushing.

"Umm, I don't know about that... maybe we could do it later... right now we have to focus, remember..." - Zoey replied playfully, before quickly looking away, while pretending to look at the forest, just so she could hide her blushing face.

Even though Zoey had literally told him to focus on their task, the first thing that Finn did was check out her cleavage. The two of them remained in the watchtower, mostly in silence, with a few occasions, where one of them would talk, it wasn't much, so it was quite boring for the both of them. Zoey tried multiple times to talk with him, about some certain topics she wanted to bring up, and see how Finn would react, but as they were mostly romantic stuff, and her personal feelings for him, it was very difficult to bring it up. She has always been confident, or at least not insecure, but when she was alone with Finn, she always gets a little shy.

"Hey, do you think those goblins are going to come back?" - Finn asked, with a bored tone, and Zoey turned around to look at him, she looked as bored as him, so she didn't have much energy to respond.

"I don't know... probably not, at least in a while..." - Zoey replied unenthusiastically, and after that, there was more silence, which made things awkward. In that moment, she felt like she was wasting her time, she had the opportunity to talk to Finn alone, about anything, without getting interrupted ,but she was so nervous, that she couldn't talk to him, and that made her fear the idea of not being able to confess her love to him by the end of the day.

"Finn, I think it is safe to say this place is very secure, we have been watching this forest for hours and nothing has happened, do you think we should move on to another spot?" - Zoey asked, with a friendly tone, to convince him to go to a more interesting place. He was almost falling asleep from the boredom, so when he heard her proposition, he immediately turned his attention to her.

"Yea, there's nothing really happening here, maybe we could stop but I feel like Faranne isn't going to like that idea..." - Finn replied, with a bored frown, that made Zoey think a little, before coming up with a perfect idea for her plan.

"I know what we can do, follow me!!" - Zoey exclaimed excitedly, before standing up, and grabbing her stuff, then climbing down the tower. Finn was confused at first, but after seeing her excitement, he chuckled, and followed her. When the both of them had left the tower, Zoey grabbed Finn's hand, to lead him to a special place she had in mind.

"Where are we going?" - Finn asked, as he was getting pulled by Zoey, who was running excitedly to the hills next to the village. He then noticed that the sun was about to set, so they had spent a long time in that watchtower.

"We are going to continue watching out for an attack but in a much more fun place with a great view that is going to help us spot goblins easily" - Zoey replied cheerfully, as she giggled while running up the hills. Finn noticed they were heading to the hills, so he understood what she meant, but what he didn't know was that she had other motives besides looking out for enemies. She wanted to make the night special, so she wanted to take him to the hills, where they had a great view of the forest and village, plus they could have privacy.

When they made it there, Zoey didn't want to do more of the vigilance, so she came up with an excuse to do something with Finn.

"Well, we are here... aren't you hungry? We spent a long time there without eating... I'm very hungry, what do you think about having some dinner here?" - Zoey asked playfully, as she already started taking out some food out of her backpack. Finn looked confused, as Zoey talked a lot in a short period of time, but then he realized what was going on, and how she was interested in doing other stuff, which didn't have anything to do with their task.

"Alright, sounds good... what have you prepared?" - Finn asked Zoey, as she was setting up a large cloth to place the food. She gave him a flirty smile as a response, and invited him to sit down with her.

"Come find out..." - Zoey replied flirtatiously, as Finn joined her at her outdoor dinner, right as the moon was coming out, and started lighting the sky, that was slowly becoming darker, as the night was coming.

Zoey took out the food she had prepared for this moment, and placed it on the cloth, revealing all the delicacies she brought with her. She had cooked meat with all sorts of vegetables, to create a gourmet looking dinner, that surprised Finn, who sat in shock, as he stared at all the food Zoey had prepared. He couldn't believe she had actually brought all that food just for them to eat, and how it all remained perfect inside her backpack, but that also raised some suspicion.

"Wow, how much food did you bring? You cooked all of that?" - Finn asked, amazed, as Zoey set some old tableware they had stored years ago. There was nice silverware, that Finn didn't even know they had, and that impressed him even more.

"Yes, I cooked all of this... is not too much, is it?" - Zoey replied playfully, while she continued setting things up, now placing two wine glasses, that Faranne kept in secret. Finn just chuckled, as he was still surprised by the amount of effort Zoey had put into their dinner.

"Alright, everything is set... mind to join me?" - Zoey asked flirtatiously, as Finn just sat in shock. He then looked at her, and stared at her skeptically, he knew something was going on with this, as it didn't seem as casual as Zoey pretended it to be, but he wasn't too sure, so he was going to find out...
