"London?" I asked.

"That's right!" Carrie gushed.

"What are we going to do in London?" I demanded. We hadn't registered for classes for the Summer, but I had been considering it. If I could get my degree quickly, maybe I could land a job that could get me away from the three of them.

Lisa rolled her eyes in exasperation. "It's a free trip, Erica. To England. Stop complaining."

Carrie seemingly couldn't contain her enthusiasm. "I'm totally going to get a selfie with one of those Royal Guards!" she gushed. "I'm sure that one of us could totally get them to react to something!"

"Wow." I thought to myself. "Talk about setting the bar high for things to do."

Alicia interjected with a list of tourist attractions she was intending for us to visit. At least her priorities seemed to be a little more in order.

In no time at all, we were on the plane, ready to go.
