Lloyd

Lloyd sat staring at the foot of his bed. He and Colette had taken their little adventures. It had been fun, but things weren’t as easy as they had been when they were fighting Yggdrasill, and when they had been trying to save the world. Now with the church of Martel crumbling because of the **** of Yggdrasill the things that they had taken for granted before, such as the house of Martel that had offered them cheap lodging, and a place to rest.

Lloyd got up and looked at the wooden swords that he had started his journey with. He had never really had the heart to get rid of them, even when they could have used the money. He walked over to them and pulled them on before heading out the door of the room and jumping over the railing, landing on his feet on the ground outside of his adopted father’s home.

He walked over to where his mother was buried and bowed his head a bit, murmuring a quick prayer. He wasn’t sure where he was going, but he wanted to at least say something to his mother before he left. After all, he wasn’t sure how long it would be before he was back to talk to her again.

Lloyd turned and then started to head away from home. He wasn’t sure where he was going, but he knew that he was tired of sitting again. He was a wandering sword, and staying in one place was a bit too much for him.
