Once again, they were back in the waiting room of the therapist’s office. Lilith had told John about his sister’s imminent arrival and that they would need to have a talk about it after the appointment. How about you bring her in to see me in a couple of days and we can explain to her the necessity of you and John’s recent changes. She may even have an issue of her own she might want to bring up to me at that time.”

“Alright, if you think that’s best Doctor.”

“Indeed, it is probably best to hide your new developments from her until then so she doesn’t get the wrong idea. Anyway, very quickly I would like to here from you any progress on John’s issue. Have you noticed any improvements?”

“Well from what I hear from him he is getting better all the time. I try to keep out of it myself so that’s all I know.”

“That’s very disappointing Lilith. As the patient’s mother I expect you to take a more active role in determining if your son is recovering.”

“Um, well there is one thing.”

“Go on.”
