Like a Charm

Tamara bent over above Luna, watching the other girl’s face. Luna’s eyes were shut tight, but Tamara could see them moving behind her eyelids, as if she was having a terrible dream. Tamara bit her lip, worried. The serum had said ‘experimental…’ what if it didn’t work? What if she had actually harmed Luna by injecting her with it? Was she in pain?

Tamara’s worry was cut up when Luna’s eyes flickered open. For a moment she looked surprised, but then she smiled a beautiful smile.

“The serum worked!” Luna beamed up at her.

“Looks like it,” Tamara responded, she could feel herself smiling just as much as Luna rose to her feet. “I’m glad you’re back.”

“Oh thank you sooo much!” Luna wrapped her arms around Tamara, pulling her into a hug and pressing her still naked chest against her friend. “Now, let’s help the others,” she said, bending over to retrieve another syringe and taking the remaining serum from Tamara.
