Light

You are the light dragonslayer Morgan. You were raised and trained by the light dragon Lumion and ever since his disappearance 7 years ago you were on your own having to survive the harsh conditions of this world all the while searching for clues of his whereabouts. At the very least you had the advantage of the legendary dragonslayer magic. Your specific element allows for more than just a flashy name ((see what I did there?)) though as you're able to bend and form light to your liking. The use of this ability ranges from simply creating an orb of light to illuminate your surroundings to creating gigantic structures of light, which, while made up of light, are as tangible as you want them to be. your roar functions more like an oversized flashlight and while that may sound stupid it has the huge tactical advantage of blinding your opponents, sometimes permanently depending on the intensity. You can replenish your magic resources by consumption of your respective element, much like the other dragonslayers, which, in your case, means the absorption of light, both artificial and natural. The only exception to this is the light you yourself produce, as that would be like drinking your own spit.

After having provided all the information required by the registration form, you make your way to the post-station on the other side of town to send it off. knowing the matter might take it a few weeks you decide to spend the time resuming your everyday life while thinking about what exactly you'll do with your magic once you're a registered mage.

As the days go by almost forget about the letter and this train of thought, only to be quite suddenly reminded, as you find the reply in the mailbox on a day that was like any other, well except the letter, of course.
