Chapter 4 by MahjongHater64 MahjongHater64

What's Liam problem?

Liam pour his heart out

"I… I guess it's the way I was raised. The way society has always told me to behave. To be respectful, to ask for permission, to treat women as equals." He says, regurgitating the things he learns as he grows. "I mean, I don't want to be that guy y-y'know? I'm worried that I may have crossed a line without me realizing, and I’ve been questioning myself a lot in that regard." He continues, his voice wavering a little bit. "I'm worried that I'd take advantage of you all."

Caitlin's smile widens. "Oh, Liam." She says, her thumb gently stroking his knee. "You're not taking advantage of us. You can't.” Her eyes stare into Liam’s, “Don't you see? That's not how this works. You're not taking anything that isn't already yours. We want you to take it. We need you to take it."

Liam just stammers without words, his mouth wants to say denials, confusions, questions, affirmations. Myriads of things all at once, yet nothing came out.

She can see the state of the short circuit Liam is stuck in, "How about this. You give me examples of what you have experienced so far. Maybe that will help you sort out your feelings. What have you done so far?"

Liam's gaze shifts to a point on her shoulder, avoiding her intense stare. "I… well… Kina, my friend who recommended you… she… we've…" He trails off, his mouth struggles to put out what his mind screams. "She uh… she's my first, actually. I mean, in regard to this whole Click thing, she's even the one that coined the term." He says, smiling a little, remembering the memory. "She has always been kind of a friend and a good neighbor in my apartment complex. The cool girl next door you know? We talk sometimes. And well, after The Click, she's… she's been… supportive." Liam says, struggling for a neutral word.

Caitlin chuckles. "That's a good term for it, very apt. I like it. Please continue." She encourages.

"She was the first one to come to me and confirm what she saw. So she, we uh…" He pauses, feeling his face flush a little, "Start experimenting and all. Trying from the smallest things to…"

"Sexual things?" Caitlin supplies an answer.

Liam nods. "Y-yeah. And more. I uh…" Liam braces himself, "After the whole day ordeal I asked her to come back to me the next day naked covered in m-my cum." He pauses, "And she did. She didn't even clean up or anything." He finishes in one quick exhale.

Liam's eyes flickered down to where Caitlin's hand rested on his knee. Her thumb had stopped its stroking. When he looked back at her face, her expression had shifted. The professional curiosity was gone, replaced by a focused intensity. Her lips were parted slightly.

"I see," Caitlin said, her tone dropping. "Any particular reason you asked her to do that? Other than the obvious pleasure of it." She leaned in closer, the clean floral of her perfume grew stronger. "Was it a test? To see if she would?"

"S-sorta," Liam admitted. "I guess it's underlying reason is, curiosity? To see how far it goes? See if the Click is truly real?" He answers with a slight tremor, "To be honest, I'm not sure. All I know is that as time goes. I started doing things to women that I don't think I ever would have done, or thought of, in the past." He pauses again, "It's like, if I'm like this in just a couple months because of my 'do whatever I want' coupon on women, then what about a couple years later? Would I be worse? What if I'm just an evil douche bag all along, and it takes things like The Click to reveal that?" He says, his words rapid now as if a dam has broken inside him. "I'm afraid of what's inside me."

Caitlin removed her hand. The sudden loss of contact felt cold.

"Liam," she began, her voice crisp and analytical. "That is a fascinating fear. But let's reframe it. You're worried about what's 'inside you', a pre-existing evil. But that's not necessarily the case. So let's not jump to that conclusion yet. It's important to understand that while the choices you make are ultimately your own, the things that are happening to you are not necessarily a reflection of your true self." She walks to her desk and picks up her notebook and her pen, looking like she's ready for a proper session with him.

"So what do you think it is?" Liam asked.

"I believe this isn't you being evil. This is you exploring your newfound freedom. The Click has removed societal constraints. The old world's rules no longer apply to you when it comes to women. You are operating under a new set of conditions." Caitlin says. "So it's not that you're a bad person. You're simply… adapting."

"But the things I do…"

"It's natural to be curious and to want to explore your limits, especially when you're faced with a situation that is new and different." Caitlin explains patiently. "Be candid with me, how are the women's reactions when you ask, or ‘make’ them do these things that makes you feel 'evil' after the fact?" She says, gesturing with her pen. "When you told Kina to come to you covered in your cum? How does she react after?"

"She… uh… she seemed happy about it. Giddy even." Liam said, his mind replaying that day, how Kina's face lit up with a wide grin when she saw him in front of his door. "She even twirls herself in the hallway like a model showing a new dress." He adds with a small laugh. "She asked me if it eases my worry whether The Click is real."

"Right. And it's not just with Kina, is it?" Caitlin leaned back in her chair, crossing her legs. The movement drew Liam's eyes to them again. He **** himself to look back at her face.

"I suspect this 'giddy' reaction is a common theme. Am I correct?"

Liam nodded. "Yeah. Pretty much all of them."

"Then you have your answer." Caitlin said matter-of-factly. "You're not taking advantage. You're not being evil. You are giving them what they want. What we all want."

"I… I guess?" Liam still sounds unsure. "I can't help but wonder… am I really that kind of person? I mean, I've always tried to be a good person. Like I said, I try to be respectful and not hurt anyone, and make sure that the women are okay with what I'm doing to them."

"However…?" Caitlin prompts gently, behind those dark-rimmed glasses, her green eyes show something beyond professional interest, a flicker of genuine excitement.

"But I can't… I can't keep track of any of that when they keep saying to me that everything is fine and enjoyable!” Liam exasperated. “That no matter what I do. They'll never say no. Never feel bad about what I've done to them—at least from what I can gather from what they say and what I see! I'm not sure whether to be happy that I can get away with anything or to be concerned that I might **** that power in the very first place!" The rising frustration was palpable as his quick words filled with uncertainty.

"Liam, there's a lot to unpack here. It's natural to feel conflicted when you're in such… " Her voice trails off as she tries to find a word that softens the situation, "… unique situations.” She finally said. “So it's important to remember that these feelings are valid. You're trying to navigate your new reality, and it's okay to have questions and concerns." Caitlin reassures him again.

Her firm tone paints a clear picture that she's not seeing any of this as a problem. More like a puzzle to be solved.

"And good part on you to actually consider all of this. The fact that you're here, talking to me about your concerns, asking for help from a professional, that's a positive sign, Liam. Most men in your position would simply indulge without a second thought. But you're here. You're thinking. That's what sets you apart."

"So what should I do?" Liam asked.

What does the good doctor suggest?
