Let him beat you a little more

You once again start out playing easy on him, and you let him kill you right off the bat.

Alex looks at you expectantly, eyes nearly bugging out of his head as you get up from where you're seated. You give him a sly smile that lingers for a little. Finally, you just laugh a little, lift your right leg, remove the sock, and throw it in his face.

"Hey!" he yips. You pay no heed as you immediately sit back down and pick your controller back up.

The next time you see his character, you try a little bit harder -- still not full skill, though -- and still get yourself killed. Instead of making a show of it this time, you simply push your left foot into his face and remove the sock directly in front of him.
