Let Alice Read Alone

After Percy had fun reading the book with Alice, he was a little tired of reading about himself, and even though they both enjoyed the experience, he thought to stop with the books, just in case things turned bad, considering that the other books are much more explicit. But since he knew Alice had actually loved reading the book, and seemed to be impressed by it, Percy decided to let her read whatever she wanted, and hopefully choose something better than his old adventures, so that way he wouldn't ruin her enjoyment, and also make sure she read about things she actually liked.

"Okay, i'm just going to leave... you can keep reading whatever you want though, i'll just leave you alone..." - Percy said playfully as he tried to stand up, and walk away from Alice, who even though loved the book about Percy, she was excited by the idea of reading others. So as Percy walked away, Alice gave him a bright smile, to appreciate him for letting her read more books, and even just thank him for sharing his past with her by reading about this, mostly likely fictional, story about him.

So to spoil Alice a little, and try to save some of his other adventures for the future, Percy let Alice explore the library for a while, and pick another book to read, which she though she wouldn't be able to, as she wasn't expecting a better book than the first one. And while Percy just stared at Alice from a distance, he started thinking of everything they did today, and trying to figure out if his plan went well or not. It was clear Alice was going to have fun now, and even though it seemed like she enjoyed the book too, Percy thought he could have done more with her, just that he didn't know what. He felt like letting her read more books was a good choice, but he couldn't help but think about all the possibilities he had, and that he could have wasted.

And since Alice was taking a long time to enjoy her books, Percy started planning what they would do for the next time they could hang out like this, because of course he had to spend more time with her. Even though today seemed like a success, Percy was looking forward to more fun ideas in the next time he got to spend time with Alice, to make her grow fond of him, or at least share more great moments, since it was clear today she finally had something to be grateful for.

But after much thinking, Percy noticed Alice had stopped reading, and seemed to be very happy without his presence, which made him smile. And now that Alice had her fun with her books, Percy knew his job was done, he got what he wanted, and it was time to leave.

Percy didn't even need to talk with Alice, just from her smile he knew she ended up having a great time reading alone, and while they walked out of the library, they exchanged a few akward, but friendly stares, as they didn't know what they would do next. Although Percy did have something to say, specially after seeing how Alice seemed eager to have more fun, but it unfortunately involved saying goodbye for today, which was something Alice knew deep down that she didn't want just yet.
